Blessed Haven We raise Miniature Schnauzer puppies. Our puppies live right with us in our home as part of the family. They are friendly, socialized, happy, healthy and loved.

Eagle just went to his new home.
We are thinking Heidi and Sadie would have puppies born in May/June of 2025 and the puppies would be ready to go in July/August of 2025. But of course, this is all in the Lord's hands on the timing of their heat cycles, pregnancies and birth of their puppies. They could be earlier, possibly. They both have longer heat cycles than some dogs.

You would be #3 overall deposit, which would be #3 on a female for a future litter or you would be #1 on a male for the future litters. As of right now.

Our puppies are microchipped, up to date on shots, wormed, vet checked, dew claws are removed and tails are docked. Our puppies are held and played with throughout the day. Our puppies are healthy, happy, socialized, and loved.

Our family pets, Heidi and Sadie live right in our home with us as do their puppies. Heidi is Black & Silver and we bred her to a Black & Silver male, so she only has Black & Silver puppies. Sadie is Salt & Pepper and we bred her to a Black & Silver male, so she may have Salt & Pepper and Black & Silver puppies.

If you are interested in a future puppy, let us know.

Rubber Bands:

One of our puppy homes just shared an experience, and shared it with us to help us all as adults to try and avoid a bad situation.

I always tell the folks that pick one of our pups to watch out as you walk in your home with a new pup, because you are not used to a small pup being around and they can get under your feet fast. You may see them across the room and your next step could be on top of them. That usually ends with a death. Watch your step!!!

We are posting this to give us something else to watch for. This is not to point the finger at a young child's mistake and criticize anyone, and I will be the first to say shame on you if you do. We all make mistakes, and one was made. We are sharing this to help parents and grandparents to be able to avoid a potential problem. I remember as a young boy on the farm you put thick rubber washers on lamb’s tails and after a while the tail would fall off, it cuts the blood circulation.

We have a thankful but concerned parent willing to share their close call. Last week they had to take their pup to the emergency vet because she had something wrapped around her tail and it was infected. The vet cut away a neon rubber band that was embedded and infection was taking place. They went back this week to have the tail cut off, but by God's grace the tail is healing nicely and surgery was avoided.

How did it happen?? The mother came home a couple of weeks ago from work and her 9-year-old daughter was doing the pups hair with rubber bands. The Mother told her not to do that and cut away all the rubber bands. Mom did not realize there was one on the pup’s tail. It probably slipped under the hair and was not noticeable. As time went on the rubber band got embedded and then infected. We saw a picture of the tail and it is not a pretty sight, but it is in the healing process. This could have been kept hush hush and life goes on, but this mother realizes if her daughter did this another child would do the same thing sometime, and wanted to spare someone else from having to go through this.

I won't mention our pups name or its new name, the family or child, because this is meant to be a warning for all of us as adults to Beware!!! I remember our kids when we got Grace and Rose as pups, they dressed them up in doll dresses and had them walk on their back 2 legs as they held their front feet up. This was really just a step away from going a little further in trying to make them look pretty.

I want to say thank you to the lady that shared this with us as a warning to be shared with others. Please no finger pointing, but have a thankful spirit it was shared to help someone else to avoid this one day. I want to Thank God for allowing Mom to get the pup to the vet in time, and being gracious, in sparing the pup from the loss of her tail. Thank Him also for the healing that is taking place. God loves all creatures great and small, even our puppies.

We would like to help each other take care of our pups, so we will share things like this to avoid tragedies, but for that purpose only. Let’s take it with a gracious spirit and keep from judging. I almost let this go because I know people can be mean, but felt it was a caution that we may not think of with young children. Accidents Do Happen!!
