It’s Raining Puppies—We Need Your Help!

Over the past 10 days, we’ve welcomed approximately 15 puppies into our care, and we’re working hard to ensure they have everything they need to thrive. This sudden influx has stretched our resources, and we’re asking for your support to keep these little ones healthy and happy.

SOS 🆘 URGENT: Help Brody Get the Care He Desperately Needs

Today, Brody, a sweet and gentle Boxer/Boston Terrier mix, was surrendered to our rescue in heartbreaking condition. His family, unable to afford the veterinary care he desperately needs, made the difficult decision to reach out for help, hoping to give him a second chance at life.

Brody has a massive tumor on his hind end, extending across his back, causing him discomfort and limiting his ability to live a normal, happy life. He’s currently hospitalized as our veterinary team works to stabilize him and assess his overall health. Before we can proceed with surgery to remove the tumor, Brody needs extensive bloodwork, monitoring, and ongoing care to ensure he’s strong enough for the procedure.

We estimate the initial costs for Brody’s care to be $2,000. This includes hospitalization, diagnostics, and the critical surgery he needs to relieve his pain and give him a future filled with comfort and love.

Brody’s journey will not end with surgery—he will also need a foster home to recover in and, eventually, a loving forever home. But right now, his life depends on the kindness of animal lovers like you.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in Brody’s life. Your support will allow us to provide him with the care he so desperately needs and ensure he has the best chance at a bright future.

Update: foster found

We are still in desperate need of a foster for Juju! He is in boarding until we can find a home for him to stay in. Please spread the word!!

We had a last minute surrender of a 10 year old schnauzer to end the new year. He was surrendered to a Good Samaritan groomer who reached out for help and we were glad we could at the last minute. This guy is a grumpy old man but very sweet and lovable. He likes other dogs and cats. He needs to be leashed to go outside. This guy needs a place to crash while we get him sorted medically and find a home for him. He is located in Houston so that is where the urgent need is but we would consider other sites. We would consider foster to adopt situations as well. Help us start out the New Year helping out this senior gentleman!

FOSTER NEEDED for Bentley!

Meet Bentley, a sweet and gentle 12-year-old neutered Chihuahua who has been waiting for a foster home at the shelter for nearly two months.

Bentley’s previous owner was disabled and sadly could no longer care for him. The shelter vet discovered that Bentley has chronic skin issues, but he’s on oral antifungal medication (until 1/10) and is responding well to medicated baths. He’s incredibly easy to handle during bath time! Bentley also needs a dental procedure, but otherwise, he’s a healthy, relaxed, and loving little companion.

This little guy seems potty trained and walks well on a leash, though his tiny legs mean the shelter staff often carry him around. 🥰 Bentley is good with other dogs—he simply gives them their space—and has a calm, easygoing demeanor that makes him a joy to have around.

Can you open your home and heart to Bentley? He deserves a warm, loving place to spend his golden years. Fostering him will not only save his life but also help free up space in the shelter for another animal in need. Shelters are overflowing right now, and your kindness could make a world of difference!
