Hey Beachside Families! So there's been requests to make it so you all can post to this page. Supposedly, according to the settings, you are already given that permission. I'll keep digging around trying to find where the disconnect is.

I know a number of you would like to get together and set up play dates with your Beachside Babies! Until I figure out the issue with the settings, feel free to post here, and tag the other Beachside Families so they get the notifications!

Suggest anyone interested in play dates start off with your city (most of you are in FL, lots of you around Tampa btw :P ). This way you can tag only those withing play date range and save a lot of time hahah.

Hello to all our Beachside Families! It's been a few months now that the last litter has gone home to families!

Denji's family sent us pics of how he's grown so far and has asked how the others have been doing! I know many of you like to see how your Elkhound's siblings are growing, so if you have time post a picture of your Beachside Baby!!

Litters 1 and 2, you're welcome to join the fun and post pictures of your Elkhound(s) as well, just state which litter they're from, so our Litter 3 can see what to expect for growth in the coming year!

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm happy to announce that all puppies have found their fur-ever homes!!

Happy Monday everyone. Many of our babies have gone home or are about to go home to their forever families!!! We so happy for each of them.

We have one more boy looking for a family of his own. Red, our fluffiest boy. He loves to play. Loves the mischief. Enjoy cuddles but is also very independent. He's very chill and loves cardboard boxes the most.

Well HAPPY 8 WEEKS OLD!

Almost all the ladies are headed home on the same day! Going to be odd without all the girls running around keeping the boys in place.

Morning everyone!! It is Thursday the 13th! Today is the day the babies get their shots and vet papers!! Their appointment is this evening at 4pm so expect pics from the vet office.

Next, a lot of you have asked about food and harnesses, toys and treats. I'm adding a picture of the food they are currently eating to this post, as well as the pet store I go to which is on the way back to 95 from my house when you pick up your baby. They encourage pets in store, so feel free to take your baby in and fit them for harnesses, check out the toys or grab a water bowl for those with long drives home

Hey everyone! Just done news and pictures.

Tomorrow is the last day of medicine and so far the puppies are still super playful and happy. They're still on a rice-dog-food-mix for their tummies until after the meds are done, at which time will slowly ween them to straight dog food.

House breaking is going well. We still have some accidents but they all do their best to make it outside, which is awesome.

Finally... We only have two puppies left that need homes! One boy and one girl. We're still sorting out the boy picks which we hope will finalize this weekend.

Our last girl is Dot! She's very loving with a straightforward attitude. She is the alpha and does have a little bit of her mother's smart attitude as you can see from the pictures.

Puppy Update!

As we are always careful to be up-front and honest we wanted to let you all know the babies caught a bug. We've gotten tested (which also tested for genetic issues and Parvo which all came back negative by the way) and we had a full vet check up. They will be on meds for the next six days to get back to 100%. If you are planning on visiting between now and then just be aware we have hand sanitizer for you to use before and after.

They got sick after a new bag of dog food was opened, so we immediately got with the vet and the dog food maker (Merrik, which we have used every litter thus far with no issue) who is way on top of things and helping us out.

Today was bath day. Haha we're too full to take pictures but they all did extremely well and Blue just loved it. He helped by lifting his paws so we didn't miss spots.

Also started house breaking. They thoroughly enjoyed outside time. Took a video this last trip out. Enjoy them chewing on me lol.

Visitation Update!

Due to some changes with the Vet, the puppies will not get their sots until Jan. 13th. As you all know they will be 5 weeks old this Saturday (Christmas morning!). We are still allowing visitations after this point. We discussed it with our Vet and they say it will be fine, the puppies' immune systems are good to go at this point, but told us to ask that if you visit you please sanitize your hands and wear a face-mask. Not just for the safety of the puppies, but for yourself as well!

The puppies have some personalities, they are active and eating 3 square meals a day, they have their collars on to differentiate between them for everyone, and next week get their shots so you all can visit if you desire!

Since collars are on those with reservations can start looking to see favorites.

Pick order as follows. (I will not give last names, you know who you are. PM me your choice and I will cross that lovable fur ball off the pickable list)

The promised video, since my app won't let me do video with photos .. sigh "IT'S FEEDING TIME!" That my friends is our little boy my husband has started calling the "voracious eater". Haha. Also if you're counting yes you see seven. The eighth takes after a brother from litter one and prefers to fly solo. I have to hand deliver him to his meals. Spoilt thing haha!
