Winter's laryngeal paralysis eventually led to the contracture of both of her front legs. She's only two years old and defying the odds. The braces are not to force her paws into a normal standing position, but to protect her wrists and lift her to her correct standing height. This straightens her spine and reduces stress on her other joints. Watch her go!

After an accident, Zeke was in need of a prosthetic paw and a hock brace.
Zeke’s family said, “Both devices have helped Zeke tremendously! I hate him not wearing his prosthetic. It is a necessity. After getting used to the prosthetic, Zeke stopped getting stuck on the steps and he runs and plays a lot more! He even started jumping up on the couch again. Happy to be alive!”
It's normal for dogs to walk a little funny the first time they wear their brace. They may stick their leg out, kick, hop, or do all sorts of odd things. They usually forget about their brace after a few minutes. For stubborn ones, it may be a few days🤣.

Jim is back from visiting Namal the Asian elephant! He and our friend, Alex, from 3DPets traveled to Namal's home in Sri Lanka with a prototype for a new prosthetic leg. When he was two, his leg was entwined in some vines and part of his leg had to be amputated. We learned more about Namal's needs and we are already hard at work on version 2.0 of Namal's prosthesis.
