Early morning in the backyard garden. We're growing 6 varieties of mint!
Mint has been used for thousands of years to aid with upset stomach and indigestion.
Mint is a natural antibiotic, antifungal, and antiseptic. Mint contains menthol, a natural aromatic decongestant that helps to break up phlegm and mucus. Menthol's cooling effect can help relieve a sore throat. You can grow your own endless supply of mint by cutting a stem and placing it in water. In a couple of weeks the stem will grow roots and you can pot it!

Its spring! Let's get growing 🌱 Things to consider when planning your garden are days to maturity, (the amount of days it takes for the plant to produce a harvest) how much space you have to dedicate to a garden, and what fresh vegetables you actually eat. (No point in growing things you don’t plan to eat!)
Example of days to maturity:
radishes mature in approximately 21-30 days
Beans approximately 40-50 days
Kale 50-60 days
Peppers 70-80 days
Tomatoes 65-80 days
Corn 70-80 days
Watermelons 90 to 100 days… if you plant watermelons April 1st you can expect watermelons by July.
Some plants like root vegetables, large plants, corn , and garlic sets don’t transplant well from indoors to outdoors so plant them directly in their forever spot. let's get growing 🌱
