We will be closed today due to driving conditions. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we do not make this decision lightly. We worry about the safety of our staff and clients.

We will be closed the rest of the day and will be delaying opening again tomorrow until 10am to allow us time to evaluate the roads.

Our ER doctor tonight is snowed/iced in and cannot make it to the clinic. HVSE in Huntsville is open normal hours and can be reached at 256-715-8389. Please follow for any updates.

We will be delaying opening tomorrow Monday January 15 until 10am. Staff will be reaching out to reschedule appointments. We are closely monitoring the weather situation and will update accordingly. Due to the severity of the weather conditions this may cause us to be unable to open at all tomorrow. We will update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and everyone stay safe!

Holiday Hours!

We will be closed on December 25th and December 26th for Christmas.

We will also be closed on January 1st for New Years Day.

Please make sure to check your pets' medications and make sure you have enough to make it through the holidays. If not give us a quick call and we will be happy to refill any meds you need.

Appreciation for my team is something I strive for everyday! We are not a perfect team all the time but I'm honored to have each and everyone of them on it!

This week marks a special week each year where we get to show appreciation to our staff! Happy Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week to every one who strives to be an invaluable member of the team, who cares for, loves, and cries over patients, and are present for each other on the daily. I so proud of each of you!

Veterinary practices would be NOTHING without their team and I'm very lucky to have the literal best one possible! From doctors, vet techs, vet assistants, and receptionists - guys it would be impossible to express the joy and gratitude that I have for each of you!

Important Announcement: Effective Immediately.

Unfortunately, due to offering emergency services during the week; we no longer have the additional manpower needed to continue to provide exotic emergency on-call services on the weekends.

This was a difficult decision to make and we apologize for any inconvenience or difficulty this causes our clients. We hope that we will be able to offer this service again in the future.

We will be closed Monday May 29, 2023 for Memorial Day. Our sister hospital Rocket City Veterinary Emergency Services will be available from 6pm to 12am Monday night.

It's that time of year again! We have our work retreat! We are rewarding our staff for their extremely hard work, hold continuing education to be able to continue the high quality of care & service that we provide, and recharge our bodies and souls since this field can be challenging and very tiring.

We unfortunately will not be providing any mobile services from Friday, May 19th to Wednesday, May 24th. Our sister hospital, Rocket City Veterinary Hospital will be open with limited staff!

Our regular ER services with Rocket City Veterinary Emergency will still be available!

We really encourage that if you need refills of your pet's medications, go ahead and get those before the 17th.

We have attached links to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to download the app. Login in is easy, simply put in your phone number and “Rocket City Veterinary Hospital” and the app will connect your account with us.

In this app you can easily request an appointment or prescription refill. You can also easily access you patient records and export them into a email for your groomer!
