How To Teach A Dog Proper Crate Manners
Hello, friends. Watch Nala, the spunky Yorkie Terrier mix, learning to exit the crate correctly. Crate manners are essential for any dog of any age, and keeping a dog or puppy calm in the crate should be necessary. Nala has learned that good things happen when she is calm in the crate, like treats. She is part of our two-week board-and-train program and doing fantastic.
Teaching An Adult Dog The Down Command
Teaching an adult dog can be difficult but not impossible. Watch Gunner, a three-year-old Golden Retriever, learn the down command for the first time. I use treats to slowly bring Gunner to a down position and then treat him for the proper position. Gunner is a bit lazy and hates sitting from a down position, so I need to use leash pressure to get him to sit. Gunner is part of American Canine Coache's two-week board-and-train program.
