We offer premium dog training and related services for Indiana from Indianapolis to Ft. Through his experience as a police K-9 handler and trainer, he developed a passion for dog training. Matt has worked alongside two partners, K-9 Cato, a dual-pur
pose German Shepherd (retired) and K-9 Oscar, a dual purpose Belgian Malinois. Through training his partners, Matt has attended over 1,000 hours of formal police service dog training and daily grows in his knowledge and experience through classes, books, videos, K-9 handling and instructing. As his desire to train dogs expanded in both the police and pet realms, it grew into Impact Dogs. After observing the dog training world for many years, Matt recognized a few shortages in the industry and felt a responsibility to improve them. As a result, Impact Dogs will always be devoted to such things as quality over quantity, honesty over making a buck, and training practices which are scientifically effective over "the way we've always done it." Matt also has a desire to help people in need, to "Impact" lives. This is ultimately where the name Impact Dogs came from, a mission to blend exceptional dog training with opportunities to positively impact people's lives.

Well, not exactly bad news because all of our puppies have found homes! 🥰 Just unfortunate, if you were looking to get one, because we will not have our next litter until next spring!
But here’s the good news! We will be listing some older females (a year or older) in the next week or so! So you can PM us if you’re interested in finding out more info, or just wait for the updates!

Savannah has found her favorite! And once she’s decided to take a puppy under her wing, it will be the most loved puppy you’ve ever met!
She settled on “Bluey” (other names soon to come!) Seems like a completely logical name for a 5 year old to pick! But hey! She stayed up throughout the whole litter so I had to let her help name them! And don’t worry, they still are all named after Police K9s!
So although, all of our puppies are held and loved daily by our kids, if you’re looking for one that is kid friendly and prone to being held/played with, Bluey will probably be it!

I know it’s kinda of hard to see because of the glare from the heat lamp but it’s going on 1a and our 5 year old is still going strong helping with this litter! 💪🏼❤️ What she’s doing is changing the towel while my husband takes momma out to go potty. She LOVES animals and this is her happy place! And don’t worry! She doesn’t have school on Friday’s so she’ll be snoozing the day away!

Matt Cox is the owner and lead trainer of Impact Dogs. Through his experience as a police K-9 handler and trainer, he developed a passion for dog training. Matt has worked alongside two partners, K-9 Cato, a dual-purpose German Shepherd (retired) and K-9 Oscar, a dual purpose Belgian Malinois. Matt is a graduate of Allen County (IN) Sheriff K-9 Academy and Vohne Liche Kennels Trainers School. As his desire to train dogs expanded in both the police and pet realms, it grew into Impact Dogs. The vision of Impact Dogs is also focused to "Impact" lives. This is ultimately where the name Impact Dogs came from, a mission to blend exceptional dog training with opportunities to impact people's lives beyond today.
How we “Impact” people’s lives.
Donate Police K-9’s
Impact Dogs donates a police K-9 to a U.S. police agency in need each year. Fully trained police K-9's usually sell for $10,000-15,000, an amount which some agencies cannot afford. However, some of the agencies which cannot afford a K-9 are the very agencies which need a K-9 the most to combat crime and drugs. Impact Dogs has recognized this need and aims to donate at least one K-9 each year to an agency in need. If you know of an agency in need of a K-9 which cannot afford one, please let us know.
Train-back Program.
How it works... 1. you attend a class 2. you tell everyone about Impact Dogs 3. every time one of your friends or family members signs up for a class, we'll donate $10 to one of our partner organizations. How do we know YOU told them to sign up? Well, when they sign up and are prompted to type in "Who told you about Impact Dogs"....we'll know!
