Hi Shasta Sanctuary friends! We unfortunately need some help. Not the best way to start the new year, right?! As you all know, we closed the rescue in 2018 and adopted out all of our animals. But once a SS animal, they will always be our responsibility. Some of you might remember Mister. He’s 8 years old and super sweet. He has lived with other animals and a kid for the past 3 years so almost any home would be perfect for him.
Elsa also needs a home. I don’t know much about her because she wasn’t adopted from us but she is 4 years old and is still playful like a kitten.
Mister and Elsa do not need to be adopted together, but it would be nice for them to have a familiar face in their new home.
They are currently located in Yreka, CA but we still have friends there that can get them where they need to go!

A Miracle just happened and BLU left the shelter. More info shortly in the new post.

BLUE WILL BE KILLED IF THERE IS NO PLAN FOR HIM BY 5 PM ON 5/18.

TRAGICALLY, HE HAS DETERIORATED SO MUCH HE IS NOW REFUSING TO EAT OR TAKE HIS MEDICINE.

IS THERE NOT ONE RESCUE OUT THERE WHO HAS SPACE FOR HIM? LOOK HOW HAPPY HE LOOKED OUTSIDE OF THE SHELTER.

BLU IS AT THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER AT 4800 IMHOFF IN MARTINEZ, CA.
