NOMINATE A NEIGHBOR!!

In this season of giving YBFF has an amazing opportunity for two lucky recipients. I'm blessed in many ways. For one, I am very grateful for the amazing clients I'm lucky to have. One outstanding set of pet parents have donated 5 (30 minute) visits to pets and their families who may need my extra help this year. Do you know someone like that in south western Rensselaer County? Maybe an elderly neighbor who struggles with mobility, who could use my help taking their pup out in winter weather? Maybe someone who always helps everyone else, someone who is ill, a family going through financial challenges with one or even a fixed income? We all know someone.

I'm inspired by the kindness and generosity of Tux and Belles' mom and dad so in their honor, I would like to match their Walk It Forward donation and give another set of 5 (30 minute) visits for cat or dog parents who need help! Thank you guys!

So I will be looking for 2 winners!!! Offer available from today, December 1st through December 20th so act fast!! Nominate someone today!

My Story

I’ve been an animal lover since I can remember. Growing up we always had cats, dogs and fish...I was allowed to keep most anything I asked for, except when I thought Shamu could live in our backyard or when I wanted a pet scorpion as a teenager! As I got older, friends and family would ask me to care for their pets while they vacationed because they know I love spending time with animals. Little did I know, this new career path was sneaking up on me.

My first career was as a travel agent and I would have the opportunity to go to great places but I hated leaving my dog, Sydney. I remember worrying about her while I was away. I took great care to instruct her sitter as to her quirky ways. As a pet owner, you take so much care into making sure they are comfortable in your absence. It feels that I’ve come full circle. I’ve been on both sides. Now, I get to be the one hanging out with animals while their people are away. I get to make them feel comfortable, loved and entertained. To me, this is the best job in the world!!

I pet am Pet CPR certified, continually trained and educated, and insured and bonded. I take the privilege of caring for and playing with your pets very seriously. You can count on me.

It’s truly been a blessing to start this new adventure, meet new customers, attend peer networking with other wonderful walkers and sitters in our area, and watch the business grow. Thank you for the support!
