My Story
I’ve been an animal lover since I can remember. Growing up we always had cats, dogs and fish...I was allowed to keep most anything I asked for, except when I thought Shamu could live in our backyard or when I wanted a pet scorpion as a teenager! As I got older, friends and family would ask me to care for their pets while they vacationed because they know I love spending time with animals. Little did I know, this new career path was sneaking up on me.
My first career was as a travel agent and I would have the opportunity to go to great places but I hated leaving my dog, Sydney. I remember worrying about her while I was away. I took great care to instruct her sitter as to her quirky ways. As a pet owner, you take so much care into making sure they are comfortable in your absence. It feels that I’ve come full circle. I’ve been on both sides. Now, I get to be the one hanging out with animals while their people are away. I get to make them feel comfortable, loved and entertained. To me, this is the best job in the world!!
I pet am Pet CPR certified, continually trained and educated, and insured and bonded. I take the privilege of caring for and playing with your pets very seriously. You can count on me.
It’s truly been a blessing to start this new adventure, meet new customers, attend peer networking with other wonderful walkers and sitters in our area, and watch the business grow. Thank you for the support!
