1. 80% of all textiles, fabrics, clothes, linen, drapes, etc... were made from h**p until the 1820’s with the introduction of the cotton gin. All schoolbooks were made from h**p or flax paper until the 1880s.

2. Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first paper mills in America, and it processed h**p. Also, the War of 1812 was fought over h**p. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow’s import to England.

3. Henry Ford’s first Model-T was built to run on h**p gasoline and the car itself was constructed from h**p! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his h**p fields. The car, ‘grown from the soil’ had h**p plastic panels whose impact strength was 10x stronger than steel. (Popular Mechanics, 1941.)

4. Refusing to grow h**p in America during the 17th and 18th centuries was against the law! You could be jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow h**p from 1763-1769. You could even pay taxes with h**p in America from 1631 until the early 1800’s! (L.A. Times. Aug. 12, 1981)

5. Quality paints and varnishes were made from
H**p seed oil until 1937. 58,000 tons of h**p seeds were used in American for paint products in 1935. (Sherman Williams Paint Co. testimony before the U.S. Congress against the 1937 Ma*****na Tax Act.)

6. For thousands of years, 90% of all ships’ sails and ropes were made from h**p. The world ‘canvas’ comes from the Middle English word, ‘canevus’ which comes from the Latin word, ‘cannabis.’ (Webster’s New World Dictionary)

8. The first crop grown in many states was h**p. 1850 was a peak year for Kentucky producing 40,000 tons. H**p was the largest cash crop until the 20th century.

9. In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940’s all paper would come from h**p and that no more trees would need to be cut down. When I wear a mask in public:

My testimony.

🐾 Does your dog suffer from joint discomfort?

Research is finally catching up to what many of us have known for a while now. 👇

"Researchers at Cornell University recently concluded a study on the effects of CBD oil on dogs suffering from osteoarthritis. Over the course of six weeks in the double-blind study, dogs were given either CBD oil or a placebo by mouth twice daily. Dogs who took the CBD oil showed clear improvement – veterinarians saw a decrease in pain and an increase in activity.

This is excellent news for owners whose dogs suffer from joint pain. This painful condition effects all breeds, but especially larger breeds and senior dogs. Until now, most pet parents have had to rely on anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) to give their dogs relief from their joint pain. However, there are several issues that come along with them. Veterinarians have suspected that NSAIDs do not provide adequate relief for arthritis pain, and they can have negative side effects on the body. Some dogs, particularly older dogs with kidney or gastrointestinal disease, cannot take them at all.

This new research, and others that have studied the effects and uses of CBD oil in dogs have shown no apparent side effects – and not just in young, healthy dogs. Senior dogs, dogs with neurological problems, and now dogs with joint pain are seeing the benefits CBD oil has to offer without suffering damage to organs and tissues."

Found this article interesting. I know that for me having went through withdrawal when I missed a dose of opioids and then again when the med was changed to something “equal” to what I was taking I knew I needed to make a change.
