You may have seen in the news earlier this year that a team of marine inspectors from the U.S. Coast Guard rescued a pregnant dog named Connie that was trapped in a shipping container in the Port of Houston. After her initial vet appointment in Texas, Connie was transferred to the Maryland-based organization, Forever Changed Animal Rescue (FCAR) to reside during her pregnancy. While at FCAR, Connie gave birth to 8 puppies!

We were touched by Connie’s story and to further our mission of helping to find every dog a loving home, we decided to cover all of the adoption fees for Connie and her puppies! 💛
