Is it fair that you pet(s) aren't given the opportunity to relieve themselves? It isn't healthy for you or your pet(s) to have to hold it! Also consider, what if you had to spend 8-14 hours a day (5 days a week) with no stimulation or interaction with anyone? I had two dogs, and had to have a walker come for a mid-day walk (working 8+hrs a day). I took some time off to see my walker in action, I w
as shocked. I was paying for 20-30min., but I was only getting 5. That's ridiculous, but they were one of the lowest priced "pet care" companies around. I guess you DO get what you pay for. It frustrates me to see dog walkers not paying attention to what they are doing, they are texting, talking on their phones or have their earbuds on. They are NOT doing their job, properly. They need to pay attention to the dogs’ attitude and their surroundings; to prevent any unwanted behaviors or any pending dangers/hazards which may lie around every corner (a car backing out of the driveway, a loose unknown animal, etc.). My name is David Brummersted and live in North Springfield, VA. Throughout my career, I have not found the satisfaction
that I have found working with animals. Some years back, I had a TIA (a mini stroke). My doctor advised me to reduce my stress level and get more exercise. I thought of my dogs at home, and paying for a walker to come every day. WOW, what a great way to do something that I really love, reduce my stress
and get exercise! And, I knew that I could do better than what I was getting from my former walker. So, I started doing research on animals to better understand their behaviors, their needs,
how they think and perceive things, and how to better train them. I continually strive to increase my knowledge about how to better care for the animals so that I can enhance our relationships with them and my own personal satisfaction in knowing that they are having a
happy and healthy life. They are like my children and they deserve the best! In my time working with dogs (including my own); I have rehabilitated an abused Pit mix who
feared every thing, a dog who had to be confined to a bed room (he would be aggressive to all
who entered), and currently working with a few others with leash pulling issues and aggression
towards other dogs (fear based/dominance). As a company we will never over/double book clients who haven’t both agreed to simultaneous walks. All walkers hired have to pass an emergency first aid and the K-9 behavioral courses (provided by NAPPS and the American Red Cross) and carry emergency first aid kits in their cars. We take pride in letting you know of any potential health or behavioral issues that could lead to future problems, and send you pictures (if possible). Your pet(s) are part of our family and we want to see them have a happy, healthy life. Services and Prices
