We are a professional dog training company that offers basic to advanced pet obedience and service dog training, public perfect, and behavior modification programs. Chris, our founder, served in the USMC for 5 years before being honorably discharged. A couple of years later, he bought Miss Ryelie Jo, and, with some professional guidance, helped train her as his personal service dog. Ryelie Jo had
such a tremendous impact on Chris that he decided to change career paths and start Elite K-9 Training, so that others could experience the companionship, and benefit from the skills, that dogs offer. Chris has worked with different dog trainers in California and Oregon, over the past couple of years, to gain experience in different types of training styles. Today, his passion is to integrate personal and working dogs into every facet of life, while helping to create and nurture an unbreakable bond between you and your dog. Vision & Mission:
Our vision and mission is to partner alongside you to create well-behaved dog-citizens for the home, public, and business arenas. Our goal is to produce and place highly skilled service animals that contribute to, and improve, the lives of veterans within our community. Values:
Veterans – We support our military, both at home and abroad. We believe that many of our veterans would benefit from the skills and companionship that service dogs can offer, which is why we want to partner with the community to meet those needs. Collaboration – We believe that each human-dog relationship is unique, which is why we take the time to meet with you, and understand your frustrations or needs, in order to create a personalized training package for you and your dog. Animals – We are passionate about advocating for animals, especially man’s best friend, which is why we use a multitude of different learning theories to help alleviate frustration with unwanted behaviors, without using punishment or negative reinforcement. Transparency – We are committed to operating with integrity and honesty with every client. You can trust us to work alongside you to create a better quality of life for you, your family, and your dog, in the safest and most effective way possible.

Expect to Self Rescue
With our Begginer metric-based group class, we are going to be starting a second class offering, because we are officially at capacity!

Offered within Foundational Obedience, this class pushes Handler/Dog into live action drillsets and opportunities to proof Foundational Obedience.
Begginers Group Class is the Handler/Dog's first look, and experinace, with our highly dynamic classroom setting.
HANDLERS get a controled environment to practice staying clear and consistent in communication, ques, and captures.
DOGS get to translate that communication and earn those catures.
The Obedience Convorsation does not change, between leash ends, when the environment changes. Giving repetitions that foster inpulse control and stabilty conditioning.
Group-based-training classes ascend a total of 4 levels of difficulty.

JULY 2023
4TH of July is fast approaching....how to keep your pet safe this holiday week
1. Keep your pet(s) indoors - dogs can easily overheat in the warmer temps, they don't sweat like we do so they need shade, and plenty of water.
2. Create a safe place: minimize anxiety from gatherings and loud noises that will be heard this week. Find a room with the least exposure to place a comfy bed and cool temps that will be most comfortable for them. Play music to drown out the scary noises outside.
3. Avoid human food and alcohol: while many human foods are good for dogs, some that are commonly used this time of year can be incredibly toxic like onions, garlic and grapes. Alcohol can be toxic as well by causing depression of the nervous system, organ failure and death. Keep the consumption responsibly to humans only!
4. Fireworks are not safe for pets - the loud noises, sudden movements and smoke/flame can cause extreme anxiety and unpredictable behavior in pets. Keep them at least 3 feet from grills and open flame. Keep inside if lighting off fireworks. Remember to keep the fireworks and lighters out of reach.
Let them enjoy the holiday by keeping them safe and being aware of their surroundings.

July 29th - Douglas County Fair and Rodeo Parade - Elite K9 Training will be participating for the first time this year. We will be sending out further information on this event as we are provided it by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. No Group Class will be held this weekend.

Very excited that two of our own have been highlighted in the International Association of Chiefs of Police magazine. Detective Dan Brite and his therapy dog Fergus have shifted the idea of officer wellness out of the shadows and into the spotlight. Our Office is better because of Dan and his push to ensure that first responders are taken care of. The addition of Fergus has made a tremendous impact on the "happiness" of the Office. Kudos to you both!

A family was left behind last year. Mother Shelby, and her two sons lost dad: Deputy Sheriff Clay Livingston EOW 12/3/2021 Lance Corporal of Marines This service dog placement happened today for the family. Today we generilzed the Dog's trained task work to the family memebers. The last picture is Paula resting into sleep in her forever home. Been a long wait and so much has been done behind the scenes. Huge shout out to Dr. Coby Webb for all your help and support through the process it all started with your guidence.
