Hiiiiii all active Etsy orders have shipped! If you want to make sure you get your stuff in time for the holiday, make sure you order soon!
Thank you to everyone who has ordered from me. If you love your stuff, I'd super appreciate a review to help my business continue to grow.
Trying to please the algorithm like...
I know I talk about it a lot, but seriously, every single person who has shopped with me in the last week, THANK YOU. I'm a one woman (and one very unproductive dog) show. When I'm sick, there's no PTO, there's no sick time, so there's no income...
I absolutely promise you the factory manufacturer of the collar you buy in a PetSmart doesn't know or care that you purchased something, but I can also absolutely promise you that collectively your purchases change me and Drax's life (it's one life, we're codependent). I was behind this month after missing some markets and my as needed therapy job due to c0vid and I've been struggling to figure out what to do, on the brink of giving up on the whole business for a more guaranteed hourly income, but in the last week y'all's support has been wild. Times are tough for everyone and I fully understand nobody HAS to buy from me, so the fact that y'all choose to spend your money with me is absolutely an honor and I hope you can feel my gratitude in every transaction and FTLOD product that you own. Please consider shopping small this holiday season. Your community needs you and appreciates you.
Take 2 because people felt sorry for Drax in the video I posted last night, which I've decided to include to provide video evidence of why we call him Drama City Drax. He answers to the name "drama". He wasn't sad, he just wanted to be outside and he's impatient. 😂 Nobody feel bad for this dog.
(sorry there's no sound. IG didn't let the audio come over too)
Shweeewwwew Harvest Fair.
More than SEVEN HUNDRED handmade products sold this weekend (contrary to what the one lady who said "$20 for a collar is outrageous. And $12 for a bow tie? Get real" before leaving told me would happen) and your girl is capital T Tired. Here's the best video recap I have because I typically remember to get video content at the most inopportune times like when I pull up to my house and see my taco order already by the door or when I'm struggling to put together my very simple table 🤷🏽♀️
Whatever. If I'm capital T Tired, I'm all caps GRATEFUL. Some of you took the time to find me not even to buy anything but to tell me how much you love products you've previously purchased. That stuff really does mean so much to me.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank. You. I know I'm "self employed" but this business doesn't exist without y'all too. And thank you to @wistatefair for having me.
And now, goodnight
Hi from me at my home for the next 3 days, Harvest Fair at @wistatefair !!!
Not including setup and takedown, I'm actively sewing products for 24 hours this weekend (6 hours tonight, 12 tomorrow, 6 on Sunday) so like 30 hours of work and drax wants to act like this at 7AM. 🤣
Disrespectful CEO.
Check out what's back and what's kind of back but kind of new but not really new but also new 🤣!
I have gotten soooo many requests for the resin "used poop bag" carriers but here's the deal: I don't like them.
I bought more resin and tried to make them again, but they're just not durable enough to meet my quality standards.
Sooooo enter these silicone dudes that I've been testing out for a bit. I *did not* make these because I don't have something that cuts silicone.
But I also don't sell things if I don't have my hand in making or designing some part of them, which means, welcome back to the refillable "unused poop bag" carriers!
These will be sold as a set and include the used bag carrier, the unused bag carrier, and a full roll of bags for just $15!
And yup! They'll be at this weekend's events. ☺️
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Etsy is open!!
I just put 17 products up in there and only ONE has ever been seen on Etsy before.
I put a few cute "all season" collars up (enter lyrics about world peace 😉) and I'll be adding more at some point but let's be real... You're here for the spook.

Every. Single. Piece ☺️
The result? Less fabric waste, more attention to detail, more care, better quality.
When you buy from me, know that every piece of fabric, every bit of collar guts (webbing), all the harness straps, each piece of interfacing for bows... They're all cut right here, individually, by me. And if I wouldn't put it on my own dog, I wouldn't sell it to you either.
Even as recently as yesterday, I missed out on a sale for telling someone they were about to buy the wrong size for their dog (a 50ish pound pittie and the person wanted a Very big but I told them a 75 pound drax wears a big). Instead of choosing the size down, they decided not to purchase and that's ok! It's hard for people with big dogs to realize their dog doesn't always wear the biggest size with me- stay tuned for a post about harness sizes featuring Brutus, a real big perfect boy.
A big corporation wouldn't care about you buying the wrong size as long as you spend your money.
But for me, it does absolutely no good if I sell you something and it doesn't fit your dog. I want happy customers who come back.
Money is tight for everyone right now and I want you to feel good about the money you spend with me, so I'll keep cutting my fabrics individually with my little pizza cutter lookin rotary blade, keeping my eyes and hands on every individual product for the best quality, and making sure you get the right size for your dog.
And as always thank you for shopping your local handmade dog accessory business
Y'all remember the ghost from last year?! WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE, and this time it's a 😱skinwalker😱
He may look like Drax, but don't be fooled. Nobody is safe at spooky season (which I still hate but I'm trying my best to change my attitude).
Really this post is to tell you I got some new halloween muscle tee fabric in and it is capital C Cute. I threw the ghost (fabric) in the washing machine right after it chased me into the basement, so I should have even more spooky tees at the Menomonee falls Festival of The Arts this Saturday since the real drax goes to daycare tomorrow, leaving me a full day to sew!
No harnesses this time- I need to get some more "rated G" fabric before those can make their way to such an event- but I'll be stacked with collars, bows, bandies, bandanas, and muscle tees!
