This happens at e v e r y market. I can't make it much more clear, y'all.
I even have signs that say "yep, still for dogs" and "these aren't for cats" with an explanation why.
So no... The harnesses aren't thongs or bikinis.
The muscle tees aren't swimsuits or onesies and they're not for babies.
The bows aren't for your kids or your grandpa.
The collars aren't belts.
The bandies aren't bibs.
The necklaces aren't teething rings.
And the tiny collars aren't for cats dangit.
Everything is for dogs. It says that clearly... IN NEON!

This is a big one! I get this question a lot (which is *SO COOL*) and I keep saying "I'm working on it." 🤣
Between rebuilding the website, becoming a Fi accessory maker, partnering with Summerfest to make collars for their store, and state fair on the way in addition to all the other markets I do, realistically I couldn't keep up with new wholesale yet.
I do all this alone- even the 14 hour Summerfest days and all 11 days straight of the fair. During fair time, I'm not even able to make it to a post office during open hours.
But, income from these bigger markets will help me be able to get wholesale going (it's V expensive). So, October 1 is the date! I'm putting it into the universe. We're doing it.

Y'all. starts THIS THURSDAY!!!
Your dogs have been calling me and they all say the same thing. They say you should go to Summerfest but they want you to bring a souvenir home for them, and I've made just the thing: exclusive Summerfest collars handmade by me!
For reference, big ol Drax is about 75 pounds and can still wear a medium (pictured) although he also fits the large size. Our small collars fit dogs starting at about 7 pounds and our XL still fits dogs that weigh more than 150 pounds! They're cotton sewn on seatbelt webbing and are machine washable, just let them air dry. Grab yours in any Summerfest store!

What does 4 markets in 4 days the week before Summerfest look like? This.
Market, fabric, coffee, sewing, coffee, market, coffee, sewing, repeat until it's done and I get my boy back from boarding and we sleep until 7:30 because now it's time to focus on the Summerfest collars and making more inventory. In case you're wondering, yes I made this reel while drinking coffee.

In case you missed it, collars on our website now have the option to be upgraded to martingale collars! Just click the "make it a martingale" on the collar that you want to order!

*Yes we know pup cups have calories. Drax gained some weight during a recent illness and now that he's healthy, his vet has given us a recommended daily calorie intake to get him back on track. Drax still thinks pup cup calories don't count, so he's not buying the calorie tracking propaganda.

My last post about prong collars brought haters out of the (virtual) woodwork and got me a decent amount of hate mail.
Here's the deal: we're a dog accessory business. We don't really speak on any human topics around here, but we'll always speak out for the dogs, and this business is fully against aversives.

So, we'll leave the training to the trainers, but we're still gonna keep doing our exchange program- you give us your prong collar, we'll give you a martingale collar. ☺️ No shame, no judging, just a simple trade! If you have your dog with you, I'll even help fit the martingale if you'd like!

ANOTHER BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! It's officially official! Your girl is Milwaukee's first Fi accessory maker! I applied, received hardware, sent off some sample collars, passed the durability testing, and was selected to be an ✨Authorized✨.dogs accessory maker. I could just cry, but i already did that so now we just scream and model around the neighborhood!
I'm in the final stages of adding the upgrade option on my website, which will relaunch on Memorial Day with new stock!

And I know you're all going to ask so the answer is no, I didn't hire a professional social media marketer or videographer to make this reel. Unbelievable, right? 🤣

So, I ordered *a lot* of this custom fabric for Summerfest and thought it would be fun to do that one trend where people "disappear" from behind a blanket but I'd use the MKE smile fabric as like a promo type thing.
Didn't take a big enough step back.
Drax doesn't care.

Anyway, hey guys I'm making official Summerfest collars and you can get them in the Summerfest stores this year.
Also... If you're wondering, YES that's the stinkin photo box I ordered. I took it apart and moved it to my basement. Yes, it's really THAT large.

It's official!!!! These 2 collar designs will be available in all sizes in the stores!!!
I worked in physical therapy full time for a decade, and at the end of that time, I had started making bow ties on the side to pay for my dog's (Drax) medical bills. It had grown to include collars and bandies.* One day, I was notified that my physical therapy employer lost their contract with the buildings I was working in, essentially eliminating my job in 30 days because the new company had their own employees. The next day, I got a call from Summerfest offering me a spot in their Shop Local Marketplace.
I didn't apply for new full time jobs because I'd need to be available for Summerfest, and y'all... I never went back to full-time PT. Summerfest gave me a chance and now I own this whole thing full time** and I'm making OFFICIAL EXCLUSIVE SUMMERFEST COLLARS TO BE SOLD IN THEIR STORES THIS YEAR.
What even is this?! 😭

*Now I make martingale collars, muscle tees, necklaces, and harnesses too.
**I do physical therapy on the side. Like uno reverse or something. Flip flopped the full time with the side hustle and couldn't be happier.
