Little Buddies Little Buddies Adoption and Humane Society Every Buddy Needs Some Buddy! At Little Buddies, we believe every animal deserves a loving home.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Northern Virginia. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals in need, including essential veterinary care, spaying/neutering, and TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) activities. Our dedication is to rescue, care for, and rehome homeless, abused, and neglected animals.

Sweet Dolly is all grown up! We love updates from our adopters. It is so amazing to see our babies thriving in their forever homes after a rough start in life. Dolly came to us severely emaciated with a horrible upper respiratory infection. After weeks in an incubator with supportive care, antibiotics, oxygen, etc., she thrived in her foster home until she found her forever home with Susan.

Fez and Stella are still looking for their forever home!!! Fez and Stella are an adorable bonded pair. They are not related, but met in foster care and have been inseparable ever since.

Fez came to us at only 1 week old with his 5 siblings after they were found in Manassas stuck inside a wall with no mom in sight. As he got older, he became sick and was diagnosed with FIP. We treated him and he came through treatment with flying colors.

Stella came to us from WV where she and her 4 siblings were rescued by a Good Samaritan. A few days after we rescued Stella and her siblings, we were able to find and trap their mom who was then reunited with them. Stella and her family had horrible upper respiratory infections and ringworm when they arrived to us. With treatment, they all healed nicely and all but Stella were adopted into loving homes.

So Stella would not be alone in foster care, we moved her to a foster home with Fez. They immediately became best buds and Fez took an older brother role with Stella, shadowing and protecting her everywhere she went. They are now inseparable, cuddling up together, grooming eachother, and being constant playmates. They both get along with other cats, dogs, and children. They are very sweet kitties who have been available since August and not one application has come in! Please share to help find this loving pair of kitties a home together!

Supervised cone-off snuggle time ❤️‍🩹

Marilyn is doing very well post-op. She will be going in for bloodwork to check her liver bile acid levels once a month for the next few months until they reach a normal range. At that point, we will wean her off of her medications and she should be able to live a normal life with no long term effects or further treatments needed.

Marilyn Monroe is out of surgery and her doctors say it was a very successful surgery! She will spend the night there to be monitored closely to make sure she doesn’t have any seizures. Her foster mom cannot wait for her to come home tomorrow. Thank you all so much for your support. This girl, despite all she has been through, thinks every day is the best day ever. She thanks all her donors and supporters for helping to give her the life that she deserves. ❤️‍🩹

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR MARILYN’S LIFE-SAVING SURGERY!

Marilyn was finally able to have her surgical consult and they have scheduled her for surgery on Monday with Dr. Taylor at TLC. They will place an ameroid constrictor ring around her liver shunt that will gradually close it overtime, allowing for blood to properly flow to her liver.

This procedure is very expensive but necessary and we need your help to be able to save Marilyn’s life. Because of her liver shunt, her body is not able to detoxify blood properly leading to a dangerous level of toxins circulating through her body. Without this surgery, she is at risk for seizures, neurological problems, and even death. Thankfully, she has done very well with medication management but that is only a bandaid.

Marilyn is the sweetest kitty who loves everyone. Her favorite thing to do is rotate from lap to lap to share her love with everyone in her foster home. She is such a happy kitty and deserves the bright future this surgery will provide.
