The buckles are in! We are giving away one buckle per division champion for each of the classes. We are also giving away reserve champion buckles to just the Pee-wee class. This is thanks to Nicole Varee and Lenora Boyer for sponsoring the reserve champion Pee-Wee buckles and we super appreciate them. There are three shows left to this weeknight series and remember you have to attend six shows to be eligible for the awards.

Thursday night theme nights continue around here! This Thursday is USA night! Wear your Olympic attire or your red, white and blue patriotic clothing in honor of the Olympics! And mark your calendars because fancy dress night returns and we’re having something new this year a Bobble Barrel Race! And also pajama night at the end of this month, which was a fan favorite last year. And as always, James Reuff Photography will be in the arena taking our photos and videos! We are ready for you tonight! The bikini Barrel Race side pot will be the lavender card. You must enter the open 4D to enter the (💯 payback for the bikini race!) side pot. You must have any kind of swim gear apparel to qualify. We will also have one sheet of pole exhibitions that we will do at the end of the regular exhibitions. The entry booth will open up at 5 o’clock. Exhibitions will start shortly after the entry booth opens up and the show will start at 7 o’clock! Remember: please get signed up in a timely fashion so I have time to get you to get you into the computer system!

I have also updated the point standings for those of you that are running for points! You do not have to be a member of anything to run here and spectators are free!

Alrighty – this Thursday! We are doing a bikini Barrel Race side pot! It will be a $20 entry fee and 100% payback for that side pot. It’ll be a 2-D/ two second split. You do not have to wear a swimsuit to enter the race. You only have to wear some kind of swim gear to enter the side pot and run that.! This is our third year doing it. It looks like it’s a high of 85 and a low of 70 Thursday night. It’s the perfect night for a bikini. Barrel Race! Spectators are welcomed and free! Exhibitions will start at five. The show will start at seven. It is very helpful if you can be entered well before the show gets started, so I have time to get you into the system and post the draw on the bulletin board.

We get asked a lot of questions about boarding here. We need to be very selective to keep everyone safe, happy and healthy. We do not board stallions. We do not accept bred mares that will be foaling out here. We do not accept mares with nursing foals. (We have our own mares with babies- that’s enough work. 😂) I will ask a lot of questions about you and your horse to make sure it’s a good fit to our facility. We also do not allow outside trainers and riding instructors here. Any questions- just ask.

We want to congratulate Kelly Pitts Stewart on an amazing weekend earning 3rd place on Saturday out of over 500 entries and 4th place on Sunday with one of our very own Penland Farms foals, CHASIN HEAVENLY REYS. We LOVE seeing foals that were born here go on and do so well. Congratulations Kelly. You have always been an amazing rider. 💕

This Saturday! Anyone who tries a saddle will be in a drawing to win a Seven Saddle pad. It will only be those that try one at this show. However, I’ll probably have to have them mail the pad directly because I don’t have any right now.

Congratulations to Alyssa Schneider and her awesome mare Flitolicious aka Sweets for having the fastest time of the weekend here out of over 350 barrel racing runs made this weekend.
