Meet Abby, a 10-year-old retired research beagle who needs your help! 🐾

Abby was surrendered to us in November 2024 after her adopter could no longer care for her. Despite being a sweet, playful, and affectionate girl, Abby has struggled with serious health issues, including chronic ear infections and painful masses in her ear canals. After extensive treatments, Abby needs life-changing surgery: Total Ear Canal Ablations (TECA) and Lateral Bulla Osteotomies. These surgeries will be performed in 2 stages and are essential to prevent further complications and relieve her pain.

We’re raising $11,000 to cover Abby’s surgery, medications, and follow-up care. Your support will help Abby get the care she desperately needs to live a pain-free life.

🐾 Freddie’s Recovery Update! 🐾

We are so excited to share that Freddie is currently recovering after his surgery to repair his liver shunt! He was able to go home the other day, and is adjusting wonderfully. His foster reports that his energy and alertness are both returning thanks to his medication, and his sweet, affectionate personality is starting to shine through once again.

A huge thank you to the amazing nurses who have been there for Freddie every step of the way, ensuring he received the best care possible. One of those nurses, who is also a proud HPR adopter, has been an incredible support throughout this journey. 💖

🐾 Meet Arie! 🐾

This sweet little guy is our newest rescue pup, and he’s here to spread the exciting news: 18 more pups just like him are on the way! 🐶💙

Arie (and his buddy, Flick) arrived on Friday, and they’re just the beginning! We’re gearing up to welcome a whole crew of adorable pups over the next few weeks, with more arrivals through February and into March.

Freddie is a loving, 2-year-old maltipoo who had emergency surgery in December after developing bladder stones. The likely cause of his bladder stones is due to a liver shunt, which needs to be corrected. We are raising money in order for Freddie to get this complex surgery.
