Super Fine K9 clients, Benny and Ollie (both Havanese) love life on the lake. They enjoy hanging in the boat with their parents and swimming (with their life preservers on)
Recently they tried something new….paddle board!!! With the help of this young lady, they soon became experts!

New experiences can really help build confidence in a dog, and in this case, also build core strength which can be beneficial to the musculoskeletal system.

If your dog loves Lake Life, Beach Life or has tried a new activity recently, post a picture or video to inspire others.

Halloween can be a ton of fun for humans but please consider these things to keep things fun for everyone!
- Keep candy out of reach of your pets. Chocolate, artificial sweeteners and even candy wrappers pose a danger to you your pets.
- Flame candles, glow sticks, some decorations and parts of costumes (and make up) can also be dangerous.
- Keep pets behind a barrier so you can safely open the door for trick or treaters without the risk of your pet running out the door.
- For some pets, people in costumes and decorations can be terrifying. If your pet has not been de-sensitized to this, testing it on Halloween for the first time may not be the best idea.
- Keep your pets safe so you can have fun and avoid a trip to the Vet ER.

It’s been a busy year for Super Fine K9 client Jolyn Lineburg! Last year Jolyn and her dog, Hunter, passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and are doing Pet Therapy visits through the organization Canines for Christ.
More recently the two new additions to her family, Finley and Winston, passed the AKC STAR Puppy test!
Super Fine K9 can help prepare you for and administer these tests.

Ellie Jun has been working hard over the past several months with her beautiful young dogs
Bella (L) and Coco (R). Bella and Coco were both getting overly excited and showing some reactivity whenever Ellie would take them for walks.
In addition to practicing walking with each dog individually, Ellie consistently worked on basic obedience and impulse control training.

The result was an hour long training walk at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna where both Bella and Coco behave like perfect little ladies.

Yes, there is still some more work to do, but this was a moment to celebrate! 🎉🐾

In case you’re wondering, Julie is a one year old English Bulldog. This family started with early training when they first brought her home and it sure has paid off! They have some rather important goals for Julie and they are well on their way to reaching them!
