We are proud to begin announcing some of our new K9 Ambassador Teams!

First up is Nick Ronzo and K9 Luka!

Nick has been a Delaware State Trooper since 2010 and a K9 handler for the agency since 2012. Pictured here with him is his first K9 partner Luka. You may recognize Luka as the face that graced the back of the most recent K9s United shirt that read “WE ARE K9s UNITED”

Nick and K9 Luka worked together for 5 years in their agency’s street crimes unit, where the two were instrumental in taking countless criminals of the streets of Delaware. K9 Luka is now retired and living the good life at home with Nick and his family.

Nick now has a new partner, K9 Bane. The two are working together in the agency’s patrol division.

We believe it is so important that current and past K9 handlers be a part of helping other K9 handlers. They are able to truly connect with and understand the needs of the K9 teams we help on a daily basis.

We are absolutely excited about Nick and Luka joining our team!

Please help us in welcoming this awesome team to the K9s United family!

This is @2shepsandadutch ‘s boy #K9Varg doing exactly what our #predatorharness and #backtie are meant to do take a beating!!!

This video was taken last year during the K9 Patrol Class. Some very valuable lessons were learned 1. NOT ALL DOGS LEARN THE SAME 2. This wolf is fantastic but did not really care for the “food tracks”. 3. It is ok to call someone and ask WHAT DO YOU DO? So I called @k94life007 of @highdrivek9 and he told me to try this method. More of a human odor to keep his attention. #K9Zeus of Dover PD went from wandering around on tracks to this! Eventually and slowly we moved on to turns and distance but look at him go!
