Meet Hazel

Hazel is a beautiful and sweet little girl looking for her forever family. She arrived at Save Our Strays with her four newborn baby kittens. Hazel is little shy at first, but she is sweet and is affectionate towards other cats. She would bring a lot of joy to any home. 🏠

🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ If you are interested in adopting Hazel, the adoption application can be completed online. Hazel will be at the Countryside Petsmart on Saturday 10:30 - 2:30 along with many other wonderful cats and kittens. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

He'd be best as an only cat in the house or to join another calm, confident cat. Contact us to meet him in his foster home or at Petsmart Countryside by appointment.

Visit Pinellas County Animal Services beginning, Monday, October 6, 2025 to pick up a Spay or Neuter voucher. To better serve you and reduce your wait time, please arrive prior to 5 PM on weekdays.

Vouchers are available to anyone receiving government benefits or with an annual income of $46,950 or less.

Please bring:

1. Proof of income (W2 or paystub) or
government assistance (EBT card, SSI, etc.)

2. Proof of Pinellas County residency (2 forms of proof):
Photo ID and Utility Bill 🪪

3. Pet Information: you can receive vouchers for up to 2 pets per household per year.🐾🐾

4. Veterans receive access to vouchers all year long and can be picked up at Veterans Services locations in St. Petersburg or Clearwater. Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸

Once the voucher is issued, you will receive a list of participating veterinary clinics to call for an appointment. 📞

The shelter is located at 12450 Ulmerton Rd in Largo. You can also call (727) 582-2600, option 8 with any questions or concerns.
