He’s a Big Kid now! Violet + King at seven weeks old… This is my last baby for the 2022 year of Gringo’s…. Insert withdrawals soon🤣🥴 but all in the name of football season!

My eleven year old spent the weekend babysitting family furries ‘Dez’ & ‘King.’ King is baby daddy to our youngest baby blue in the recent pics…. It got me thinking, I should share our keep them pups cool regime because Bulldogs just keep going when they are literally going… They are loyal, committed, and driven. They have no idea their bodies are getting over heated until they are having a hard time cooling off. Our babes love to sun bathe, so I actually let them play outside all morning, until lunch-ish. They eat, sleep, and you know💩 We keep a kiddie pool on the back porch they play in, and they have an entire concrete shaded slab they snooze on. They have elevated beds to keep them cool until the heat kicks in and the oven feels like it’s on full blast around lunch…. After that, the snooze continues inside until the sun is hidden behind the trees around 4:30 or 5pm… There is no amount of appropriate hydration for this heat, please be careful. 🖤🐾

S E V E N days old. That means eyes will open soon. Umbilical has fallen off. He loves to sneak under a towel while napping, makes me nervous, but for sure a personality trait. 🖤🐾

I knew this litter was going to be small, but there was only one big ole baby in there that was almost 2lbs at birth. Last week little chiquito made his presence and he has been every bit of a delight. What does this mean for those of you waiting to have one of our babes? Well, this just means you have a tad more time for planning. We are taking the next few months off to dig deep into some Panther Football and do some updating to our pup space & hangout! 💜🐾

Reunited with baby Sable! This little baby gave me a run when she was three weeks old. She aspirated and I thought I was going to loose her. After pulling through, she had a really hard time catching up to the others because she had developed swimmer’s legs. I carried her around with me as much as time would allow and I held her hind legs in position for as long as I could and as often as I could to get her back on track. Any time she was on the ground, she was only allowed to walk on a rubber surface, that grip really helped her gain strength back. Now, known as Sable, she runs the construction site with her fam bam and sleeps in an American Doll bed when she can get away with it! 🖤🐾

This always makes me nervous, but I will say, I was never concerned about it and I also never heard about until a few years ago…. I’m not sure why, but that has always made me even more anxious… the shoulda, coulda, woulda…. Just be careful🖤🐾

Growth of toxic algae can be found in both fresh and salt water throughout the warm regions of the world. Blue-green algae becomes concerning when algae accumulates on the surface of the water during hot, dry weather with wind that can shift concentrated algae mats along the shorelines. Affected water may have the appearance of pea soup with thick layers of algae on the surface. Blooms of blue-green algae can contain hepatoxins and/or neurotoxins, depending on the species. Exposures occur when dogs ingest or swim water that contains the cyanobateria. Clinical signs with the hepatoxin variety are vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, weakness, shock, icterus, and potentially death within 24 hours to several days. Clinical signs seen with ingestion of neurotoxin species occur acutely with onset of tremors, lethargy, seizures and respiratory distress and death within a hour. ~ Pet Poison Helpline
