Adopted!🐾

This is Poppi, he's 10 years young! A kind soul, and just so sweet. According to his microchip from Arizona, all contact info for his previous owner is outdated. He has plenty of life left in him and loves to play fetch. He seems to be a lab mix and loves everyone! He was left in the Boggy Draw area a few weeks ago but an owner never came looking for him. We think he just wants a comfy couch to retire, some walks, and a game of fetch with a loving family.

Precious Pets has some openings available starting on June 13 through 26th, some dates in July and August too. I'm already getting booked into November so book early and if plans change we can always be flexible. Thank you, and hug those furries for me!

We've been so busy trying to keep up with this girl's biscuit orders that we forgot to properly introduce her! This is Rhubarb, Ruby for short, and she's so amazing.

Rhubarb was saved at the animal control shelter in Shiprock, NM by our friends at RezRoads Rescue last week. She has a wonderful personality and loves to be around people. She's very snuggly and sweet, loves to play, and is healthy and adorable. She settled right in here with us and quickly got to work making biscuits every chance she got!

Ruby will be available for adoption in a just couple of weeks!

We are hosting a winter pet supply drive for the animals and communities of the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation for the month of December!🎄 Most of the animals within these communities live outside and have the bare minimum when it comes to food and shelter, and we'd love your support to help their families keep them warm and cozy this winter.
We are accepting monetary donations that will go towards the purchase of straw bales and insulated dog houses. We are also accepting donations of food, blankets and sweaters, used/new dog houses, heated water bowls, and other new/used pet supplies.
The drive will go through December and we will deliver the supplies at the beginning of January. Please reach out with questions and drop off details. Donations can be sent to Venmo@durangoanimalconnection or purchase a gift card at Pet Haus and tell us what you'd like to purchase!

This mystery illness is very serious! Please read this article so you know of the symptoms in dogs. Please consider staying away from dog parks, kennels, and boarding facilities, and keeping your dog isolated from other dogs who might have been exposed in such places. I hope all your precious pets are safe at home! Remember to always keep them current on vaccinations, and ask your vet on more ways to keep them safe during this crisis in the canine world. Give them a pat on the head from me while you're at it.
