This little tuxedo cat came to me as an emergency medical foster 7 years ago when I worked at Halo. She had been lying under a rocking chair when someone sat down. We didn’t know if she was even going to make it. Brain swelling, nerve and brain damage. She had seizures many many times every day. She needed 24 hour care. She came with me to work every day. She received acupuncture therapy for weeks. She was intended as a foster…. When she healed, I brought her back to get adopted. People inquiring about her, kept asking “what kind of life she would have”and “how much” the future vet bills could cost. I got so annoyed that people couldn’t see past her “disability” that I finally decided she was meant to be with me. I didn’t care what it would cost. We will deal with it when we get there. Well for anyone that wonders what kind of life an animal with disabilities could have…. Here she is 7 years later 1/2 blind,1/2 deaf and a screw loose enjoying her new catio 😍
