Sweet, sweet summertime! For veterinary professionals, summer means an increase in canine parvovirus cases. The first line of defense is to be sure your dog is up-to-date on CORE vaccinations and that puppies have completed their distemper/parvo series before being introduced to outside dogs. In cases where a dog has been exposed or tests positive, we are ready with canine parvoviral monoclonal antibody injections. Early treatment is imperative, before the start of clinical signs. We urge you to vaccinate and if you are concerned your pet has been exposed, call us right away! Rainbow Vet has already provided CPMA to 13 puppies.

Sweet Odin came in last week for his very first puppy visit!! He is a 16 week old German Shephard with a lot of energy!! His favorite Treat is freeze dried liver, and his favorite toy is a stuffed yeti! Say hello to Odin!!

Favorite Treat: Hills Hypo Treats (realistically anything)
Favorite Activity: De-Fiberfilling his toys
Siblings: None, but does love kids and playing with other dogs
Favorite Toy: So so many!! Most are just pelts and remnants of what used to be a toy before it got shredded.
Fun Fact: Lenard is a Husky/Border Collie Mix and has traits of both breeds. Also rescued from a litter of 6 pups and each was named after a character from The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon, Lenard, Howard, Pennie, Bernadette, and Amy

This Superstar Saturday we are featuring Sheldon!! Sheldon is a young pygmy goat that spent some time in our hospital. The entire staff fell in love with this cute little guy😍. Sheldon is now doing well and spends his time doing goat parkour and he loves his berry treats! Say hello to Sheldon!!

Our SuperStar Saturday this week is Zoe!! Zoe had to spend a few days with us after eating a rock, but was the best girl and is now doing well! Zoe loves all kinds of treats, and apparently things that shouldn't be 😉. Loves playing with balls and sitting in the car's driver seat and chasing koi fish in the pond! Happy Superstar Saturday Zoe!!

Say Hi to our Super⭐️ Griffey!! Griffey is this week's Superstar Saturday! We love having Griffey visit us for daycare! Griffey's favorite toy is his tennis ball and he loves to play fetch and go for rides in the car. He is always super happy to come see all his friends at 🌈 and we love giving him all the pets!!
