Today I’m revealing something special…
All my life, I’ve been coaching people on how to help their pets thrive. I’ve tried to fit that passion into different boxes (CVT, CCRP) but nothing quite held the whole picture of what I do… until now.

I finally found a mentor and teacher who lit that animal fire in me again. .ruthroberts , a brilliant veterinarian and generous soul, created a program that feels like home.

Today, I’m proud to share that I’m now a Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach. This program weaves together all my education, experience, and tools so I can help your pets be healthy, happy, and living their very best lives with you.

Thank you Dr. Ruth and the incredible team—plus all the amazing coaches walking this same journey with me. My heart (and tail) is wagging with gratitude!

Some of you know me from puppy playdates, others from fitness sessions or nutrition chats. But as our journey continues, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and celebrate how far we’ve come together.
I became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in 2006, starting my career in general practice. For six years, I worked behind the scenes and at your side doing nail trims, assisting in surgeries (from spays to TPLOs and FHOs), comforting nervous pups, expressing a**l glands (yep, that too!), and supporting vaccine visits.
Fast forward to today. I’m proud to now be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Colorado. When our state fought for greater recognition of vet techs, I took the next step in my career. This title comes with greater responsibility and a deeper commitment to my professional practice.
What That Means for You
Whether you’ve been with me from the start or just joined K9 Fitness Works, here’s what I work for:
To give you and your dog the highest quality care I can offer.
Combine clinical experience with holistic tools.
Help dogs move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives, naturally.
As a business owner and RVT, I continue to bring you:
Canine fitness
Nutrition & supplement guidance
Energy healing
Pain and mobility support
Personalized strength & balance programs
Helping you understand your dog’s body is my passion. I’ve held space for pets through surgeries, tough diagnoses, and now through joyful movement and recovery. That trust means the world to me.
Thank you for letting me be part of your family’s journey.

There are nutrional and Therapeutic doses of omega 3 oils. Therapeutic doses help pets with comfort for happiness.

Are You Giving Your Pet Enough Omega-3?🐾

Omega-3s are among the most searched supplements online💊 — and for good reason: they're vital to your health, as well as your dog’s and cat’s...yet still widely misunderstood.

Many well-meaning pet parents reach for flaxseed or chia, or avoid marine oils due to concerns about mercury. But here’s the truth: while plant sources provide ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), dogs (and humans) convert only a tiny amount into the active forms their bodies actually need — EPA and DHA.

And even among fish oils, not all are created equal.👍👎

Without direct sources of EPA and DHA — like cold-water fish or quality marine oils — your dog or cat may be missing out on the omega-3s that matter most for brain, heart, joint, and immune health.

To clear up the confusion and help explain what really matters, today’s 12pm ET Inside Scoop live episode is a must-watch!

We're sitting down with Dr. William Harris, world-renowned omega-3 researcher and founder of OmegaQuant and one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide!

In this conversation, we'll be discussing everything pet parents need to know about omega-3s, including:

🐟 Why omega-3s are essential for both humans AND pets — especially for aging, inflammation, and chronic disease prevention
🩸 Why testing matters — and how to test your dog’s omega-3 levels
🐟 Which fish and supplement forms provide the most effective omega-3s (and which to avoid!)
💊 Understanding different supplement forms and which are best
🔎 How to decode supplement labels and choose high-quality sources

You’ll leave this episode with science-backed clarity on choosing the best omega-3s for your pet — and yourself.

Comment SCOOPERS and we'll message you the link to join Inside Scoop, a Planet Paws monthly subscription group, where all live podcasts are available to watch at any time. Plus, over 5 years of content including: past live podcasts, interviews, ebook downloads, and more!
