Sharing my favorite wedding ever in honor of the Lunar New Year (yesterday). In case you don’t know, we are beginning the year of the wood snake. According to some research I did, this year symbolizes “growth, renewal, and adaptability, encouraging people to reflect on their paths, embrace change, and seek personal growth.” This really speaks to me in a powerful way. It is a reminder to be intentional this year, and to focus on self reflection, healing and purpose. Happy Lunar Year everyone, may the year of the snake bring positive change, personal growth, and a life filled with meaning. ❤️

I have yet to photograph anyone who is “comfortable” with a camera. I also have yet to have anyone walk away from an experience with my camera saying “that was awkward.” My clients are people who just want to look like themselves in the best way possible and I’m here for it

Last night I received the “Best Wedding Photographer” award from ‘s Gayest and Greatest Readers Choice Awards. This means more to me than I could ever articulate. My goal as an ally for the LGBTQ+ community has always been to create a safe space in which everyone feels comfortable to be themselves with me. I never want any couple to feel like they need to come out to me or feel the need to explain any relationship that may not fit societal gender norms. I’ve worked for years to create a business that not only reflects the love my clients have for each other, but also a business that sets a standard for allyship in the wedding industry. Being voted the best in my field among the LGBTQ+ community in Houston is a huge honor. To be welcomed with open arms by my clients is a privilege I will never take for granted. Thank you for your votes, thank you for your trust, and thank you for being you. ❤️🌈 🌈
