🦃🐾 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips from Nikki’s Pet Sitting! 🐾🦃

We know you want to include your furry friends in the holiday fun, but let’s make sure it’s safe for them too! Here are a few tips to keep pets safe and happy during the feast:

🍽 Keep Pets Away from the Kitchen: Hot stoves, sharp knives, and dropped food can be dangerous. Keep pets in a safe space while cooking.

🍗 Be Careful with Table Scraps: Not all holiday foods are pet-friendly. Check out the photo below for a guide to Thanksgiving foods that are safe and unsafe for dogs.

🌼 Watch Out for Holiday Decor: Decorations like candles, flowers, and table centerpieces can be tempting to chew or knock over. Keep them out of reach!

🥂 No Alcohol, Please: Even a small amount of alcohol can be harmful to pets. Be sure to keep all drinks out of reach.

🦴 Have Pet-Friendly Treats Ready: Make your pets feel included by giving them their own treats that are safe and yummy!
