It’s the 4th!! Please, please, please

*Keep your pets inside and be aware of escape options (people walking in a door etc)

* Fully charge your GPS /tracker collars

* Use earplugs for your pet if they will allow it

* Maintain awareness of your energy. If you are freaking out about your pets nerves and anxiety - your pet will be 100x worse. Be a loving kind calm leader

* Use medication if that makes sense for your pet

* Do not let you pet outside unleashed no matter what!! Even if the recall is 1110000%

* They will run theoigh electric fences, break ties, and get dangerously tangleded on runs. Don’t trust those.

I would love to wake up tomorrow with ZERO lost pet session requests. That would be something to celebrate. 🎉🎉🎉

Exercise your pets on 4th of July. Whether they are anxious or not about fireworks, a reasonably exercised animal will have less anxiety to display. Like kids.

An abundance of unused energy will manifest in MORE anxiety.

You dont want to exhaust them. That won’t help. Kids that are over tired, react more emotionally, and animals will too.

But a little exercise a couple hours before you expect fire works has a good change of helping them be a bit more relaxed. And if it’s even just 5% better, it’s worth it. Becuase fear stinks. Fear is hard. Fear is something we never want our animals to feel. So if we can reduce that in any amount, it’s worth the effort.

I really want to make sure pets are safe and comfortable for the fourth.

Wed / Thurs $75 for ANY client, new or current, that needs to know what their pet needs to feel safe and comfortable and better during fireworks.

I should’ve thought of this sooner. But I didn’t.

So now Ill do what I can on Wed and Thurs.

If you want to schedule text 207-849-0096 or email AngieAngieMorin.com

Timing is sort of tight, so if you can include up to 3 questions and a photo and name of animal in the initial correspondence.

I will also gather more questions about what the animal needs to feel safe. For some it may be specific music or ear plugs. A specific spot in the home or barn. A certain person by their side.  Maybe even medication.

Whatever they request I will relay in to you.

Let’s keep the animals as safe and happy as possible and make sure they feel as  comfortable as possible.

Most of the week I will be talking about the 4th of July because it is so traumatic for many animals. It's the day when statistically most pets go missing.

I have many animals (dogs, cats, horses, etc). I have neighbors that set off fireworks. One in particular is VERY scared of fireworks. He will spend the entire night trembling and panting.

No one is breaking the law by setting them off here so all I can do is make sure my animals are prepared and safe to the best of my ability.

1- I’ve said it 100x. Ill say it 100 more. Even if your pet is OFF LEASH trained DO NOT leave your pet off leash.

2- Get ear plugs for your pet. Start getting your animal used to ear plugs now so they aren’t panicked over the muffled sound or something being in their ears.

3- If necessary, get sedation from your vet NOW.

4- Livestock CAN run through fences, even electric. When scared they aren’t rational. Years ago, one of my horses ran through a 3 stand, 2” thick white tape electric fence from fireworks. It was not 4th of July. I wasn’t expecting fireworks. He was flighty. He got hung up, broke his neck and died right there.

Dogs CAN and will run through underground electric fencing too.

5- Small animals are affected too! But people forget about them. They can’t run away if they are caged, but they are SO scared.

6- Play calming music in the room your animal is in (small animals too). White noise is great, it muffles the booms more than even classical music.

7- Run the washing machine AND dryer if you can hear it from where your pets are going to be. These are GREAT at muffling sounds.

8- BE AWARE of open doors. Pets that never dart, may dart out any open door.

9- Keep even the calmest pets supervised at all times. If they are on a run, they can tangle themselves. If they are wearing a collar they can jump and hang themselves.

10- keep your cats INSIDE

When animals are afraid they act irrationally. They can jump out windows, jump through screens, dart out doors, run through fences and closures. I know this sounds over the top for many pets that are calm and don’t react.

But please, when I tell you all of these scenarios I have heard first hand happen to animals that did not usually do these things.

When animals are lost they are so afraid. What is does to them is 10000x harder than what it does to the guardian.

So please spread the word. And be prepared for your pets comfort.

And enjoy your Fourth of July! If you are relaxed and happy that helps your animals feel the same.

Our animals choose us before either of us enter into physical form. This is all decided between us while we are souls (spirit).

So what does this mean? Animals that are meant for us will always end up with us. This can be for a short time or their forever. Sometimes we are a temporary spot for them. Sometimes we are their forever spot.

So even though you will make decisions about who to bring into your home, know these decisions are guided for the perfect outcome.

So some would ask, why do abused animals choose their abusers as guardians?

It’s hard for us to understand as humans. But this simplest way to explain is like this.

Animals are the most selfless souls on this planet. They choose those neglectful, abusive, and unimaginably painful situations because they are trying to teach their guardian lessons.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Because we all (animals and humans) have free will. But these selfless being enter into these situations with the hope and intention of helping their humans grow or develop in some way.

As humans we can’t even imagine choosing that. And though the physical form of the animal will suffer (often greatly), the soul is doing it’s work.

Sometimes these animals are meant to be there for a period of time and then are relieved of the job (through rescue). Sometimes they dedicate their entire lives.

It doesn’t make it easier to see. It’s not easier to understand. But maybe you will be more inclined to help if you see a problem. Because if an animal in a bad situation catches your eye or crosses your path in a way that you CAN help. Please by all means help.

No encounter is by chance. If they catch your attention in some way and you feel a pull to help. That’s because you made a deal before incarnation to help that animal, relieve that animal from that job at some point during it’s physical life.

This week there will be fireworks in many places to celebrate the new year!
Even the most home bodied pets have the potential to be scared and to run. When pets are afraid they don’t think logically. There is not one pet on this planet that is 100% exempt from the possibility of getting lost. They will dart out a cracked door if afraid, they will run through a fence, or they will run away from the safety of their home if they feel the fireworks are too loud near their home.
In fact, most of the time it’s the pets aren’t afraid or aren’t flight risks. Because the pets that are a flight risk, or do have fears, are kept in a safe place.
So please, if you have an outdoor animal (cat, farm animal, etc… ) PLEASE keep them in a secure place INSIDE. And don’t wait until the last minute them in.
If you have an animal with fears of fireworks you can use ear plugs. You can diffuse pet safe oils or phermones. You can play calming music or TV to muffle the sounds (though this doesn’t always work if the fireworks are close).
If you are home with your fearful pet, check on them, but don’t amplify the fear by making a big deal of it. Just pat them, love them, give them some treats, and tell them there is nothing to be afraid of.
They will play off your energy if you are feeling stress over their fear, their fear will increase! If you are calm, their fear will be as minimal as possible for that particular animal.
But most importantly, keep your animals secured. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Being lost is scary for the animal and the majority do not survive.

Ive been quiet for a few days. Lots of socials have had (animal) posts cross my feed that are heartbreaking. It hurts to see.   As an empath I truly feel it in my heart and soul. I cry. It makes me sick and uneasy. So sometimes it is easier to stay away from it. But that doesn’t help the animals. They rely on US to protect them and when humans fail, or worse, hurt them intentionally, I feel SICK.

So,  it reminds me why WE all do what we do. Me and everyone that follows this page. You would only follow if you want to do better for animals, to help animals, and to understand animals.

So I am extending the $99 mini special to help more animals. The special I ran last week.

Up to 5 single questions - and a bit of time for your animal to share what it wants to share. Ill run this for another week. I didn’t plan on running again so soon. Just decided today, right now! I want to help animals. I know you all want to help your animals.

So it will run Thursday June 26th through Thursday July 3rd.  (For ease I usually try to do a Monday - Sunday) but when I make last minute decisions it runs mid-week to mid-week!

As a reminder if I have already done a session on your pet, your mini session is always $75 for up to 3 questions.

When pets are lost, we will do anything to bring them home. The real statistics are only about 25% of pets return home safely. To give your pet the best odds of being in that 25%, read the below information.

And most importantly, prevent your pet from being lost. The only true protection you can provide is a GPS tracker. Keep one on your pet at all times. Even pets with no history of wandering get lost accidentally (car accidents, open doors, broken screen, broken clasp on a leash or harness, pet sitters, etc.. ). Even pets with a 100% foolproof recall are still animals that get distracted, make a mistake, get spooked, etc. KEEP A GPS on your animal at ALL times. And KEEP IT CHARGED.

* Animals Have Free Will – I can not tell them to come home. I can try to encourage them, but they can not be forced. However, if there is a reason they are not coming home, I will be able to tell you what the reason is. Changes can be made by the guardian to encourage the pet to return. Sometimes they truly are lost and don’t know how to get home and sometimes they don’t want to go home.

* Lost Pets Hide Very Well – You can walk right past them and even though they know you and they love, they will likely hide because they are afraid. Many lost pets have been found (deceased) in areas where guardians and others have searched. Look everywhere, don’t expect your pet to run out to you. Look in places you think your pet can’t fit.

* Time Matters – Time is of the essence, the longer they are gone, the less likely they will return. Don’t wait. Start looking. Start taking steps to help them safely return.

* They Feel Your Energy – Desperation, control, and panic can push them away. Putting out “lost” energy keeps them lost. Visualize them returning home safely. No matter how far away they are, they feel your energy.

* They Are Afraid – Even the bravest are afraid in some ways. This affects their ability to make good decisions, to get home, and to think rationally. They do not act themselves.

* They Can Survive Longer Than You Think – Don’t give up.

* Leave Items Outside – Leave scented items outside for them. Your dirty clothes, their favorite toys, a dirty litterbox, etc. The scent will help them get home.

* Get Help – Put up fliers. High a themal drone, hire a tracker, hire an animal communicator. Call the shelters and vets to alert them. Start teaching, keep searching. Get people to help you search. If you have a pet with a good friend (another housemate) bring that friend (if the friend can go outside). Animals can help lead you to their friends! Or, encourag their friend to come home.

* Keep Contacts Up To Date – this seems obvious but with busy lives it is easy to forget to update phone numbers, email addresses, and house addresses. Microships, identiciation tags, etc… all of these need to be kept up to date or they don’t help your pet. One day too late (I’ll do it tomorrow), can be too late. Do it the very same day you know your contact information is changing.

Most importantly, never ever think your pet is immune from getting lost. As hard as it is to hear sometimes they leave intentionally and sometimes bad things just happen and they get lost. Even the most homebound pets.
If you would like to set up a lost pet session to get information on your pet’s location, health, and any possible reasons they are not coming home, please email AngieAngieMorin.com or call/text 1.207.849.0096

Animals express their love to us all the time. They are the purest form of love on this planet.

There are common ways of expressing love (purring, licks, nickers, etc). Then ways they express love that we often misinterpret. Barking (protection), chewing our things (socks/ shoes) because they smell like us, jumping on counters (to make sure it’s safe for us or to be part of our world).

What does your pet do, that is unique, or previously misunderstood ,show you love?

My goal with this gift is to help people better understand their pets. This in turn creates stronger bonds.

Animals are happier and better behaved. Guardians get to experience a better version of their pet.

There are SO many ways to communicate and understand your pets better. As a reminder I have a blog on my website, www.AngieMorin.com

This blog has everything on it. There are so many topics. I want to create an educational place where guardians can read about HOW to help their pets. HOW to understand them better. HOW to communicate better. I love to help. But the true goal is to help educate humans.

But, here on this thread, please tell me what you have learned here that has helped you and your pet the most. Knowing what has helped most,  helps me help all of you more.  Please comment below.

Reminder! Mini sessions for new clients are just $99 this week, June 16th through June 22nd. Still have a few spots open.

This includes up to FIVE questions for your pet.  (It’s usually only 3!)

Behavioral issues? We can get to the bottom of those and find solutions.

Stress? We can find out what the stressors are and how to help.

Relationship dynamics? We can figure out what the problem is and how to help.

Medical Issues? We can pinpoint areas of pain and discomfort and get the animals request for helpful options.

Communication Issues? Yes, we can definitely help with that.

Just want to hear what your pet has to say? Yep! We can do that too.

If you want to schedule please text 207-849-0096 or email AngieAngieMorin.com

Angie Morin, Animal Communicator

Angie Morin has felt a deep connection to animals since she was a child. She has spent her life working with animals and communicating with them. Angie has always been known to have a “special way” of connecting with animals. Animals of all types have always been drawn to her. Health and happy animals and animals in need. From dogs and cats and horses to squirrels and other “non traditional” animals, animals always seem to find Angie and attach to her. These always relax and feel very comfortable around her. She has been a professional equestrian, rider, and trainer for years. Always taking in the horses others couldn't work with. All of these “unruly” horses blossomed under Angie. She has always had a way of communicating with them. Years ago, Angie embarked on a more spiritual journey that allowed her to tap into a level of communication with animals. She has worked with many spiritual mentors to further strengthen and develop the skills she was born with.

Now Angie offers personalized readings for others. She not only can help you work through problems you are having with your pet but Angie can tell you what your animals purpose is in your life. Animals come into our lives for reasons we don't know of at the time. They are here on soul contracts with us to help us learn and develop and evolve. Despite the depth of the relationship between humans and the animals in their lives, some of Angie’s clients simple want a reading just to learn more about their animals wants, needs, and personality. Either way, for fun or for more in depth purposes a reading with Angie and your pet is sure to help strengthen the relationship between you and your pet and help you evolve spiritually.
