With the 4th of July approaching next week please make sure your pets have current contact information on their tags and microchips. And please make sure their GPS collars/trackers are FULLY charged. You dont want those running out of battery while they are lost.

4th of July is one of the days when most pets go missing, run away from fear, get lost, etc. Be prepared.

Keep your pet inside and even if your animal had a fool proof recall - use a leash during the holiday.

Any animal can get afraid and run off. Even the ones you think never will.

It is better to be safe than heartbroken.

* Do our animals understand when we talk to them?*
Yes, they do! What they do not understand is when we are joking.
Animals that are talked to often with words of praise are happier and oftentimes, can act a bit spoiled (lol). They are always being told they are special or loved so they feel that way.
Animals in not great situations that are scolded or told they are “stupid” even as a joke, are not as happy and start to have self-confidence issues. They become nervous and anxious.
The words you use when you engage with your pet affect your relationship with them and how they view themselves.
Pets often ask for more words from their guardians. Or they tell me they feel so good when their guardian (for example) says, “I Love You” or “You’re so pretty”, etc.. Then some pets talk about owners that say “You’re a bad dog (or cat)” and how much it affects them in a negative way. They are sad. Even if joking, the pet does not want to hear those words. Pet’s can’t take jokes. They are literal beings.
Joking is a big miscommunication problem between humans and animals. No jokes for them PLEASE.
A pet’s self-image and happiness are directly related to the words used to engage with the pet. Environment plays a role too but words are huge.
Lastly, since they understand what we are saying, talk to them!
*When you are going on vacation tell them and tell them when you’ll be back. Tell them who is taking care of them while you are away. Tell them:
* When you are leaving the home and when you’ll be back.
* If you are moving to a new home (with them! Never leave pets behind)
* If a new animal is joining the family
* Tell them everything! They are intuitively connected to you and they understand.

Share your dreams, your hopes and your wishes with your pets. They are here to assist us in our journey. Not just with life lessons but with our hopes and dreams and goals. Animals are connected to universal energy just like we are. In fact, because they vibrate at a higher frequency than most of us they are connected at an even higher level. This means being around animals will help raise our vibration if we are open to it. This makes us feel better, helps us reach our goals and dreams and helps us manifest. Spend as much time with animals as you can. It will enhance your life in SO many ways. Energetically, emotionally, spiritually and even physically. Make a wish. Set an intention. Trust your pet to help make it happen.

A while back one of the dogs I was in session with gave a lovely description of the rainbow bridge. So lovely I want to share it with you. “Let me tell you about the rainbow bridge. It’s a real place. When someone’s human shows up a bell rings for only the animal the human belongs to. The only animal that can hear the bell is the one that belongs to the human. So we all wait for our bell. And when it rings it is the most joyous part of the rainbow bridge. No matter how much fun we are having, or what we are doing we immediately stop, turn and RUN to the reunion spot. The excitement is overwhelming. The happiest is overwhelming. We WILL see each other again. “

Natural ways to calm an anxious pet

Some of the most requested

1- Grooming. Brushing your pet releases endorphins. This will help reduce stress and anxiety. If your pet doesn’t like grooming start very soft and slow.

Most pets that oppose brushing opposite it because it hurts (mats, too much pressure, too fast, wrong type of brush, etc)

2 Pheromones. Available in diffusers, sprays and even collars! Pheromones will help calm them down. This can be very helpful in new environments.

3. Music, White noise, or Pet tv. This can naturally calm them and help drown out background noise that can be scary.

4. Exercise - like humans, exercise releases endorphins that help with mental wellness, stress and anxiety.

There are many other ways too, but these are moat popular with pets.

Calling in your next pet. It’s true, animals choose us. They will find their way into our path. We get the animals that need us. We get the animals that know we need them for life lessons, growth, healing, friendship, and more. If you want to call in your next pet, with specific qualities you can do that! Write the qualities down on a piece of paper. Be very specific. Hold this paper and sit in meditation daily. During meditation, call in your pet. Use intention to draw in the energy of your next pet. Ask your pet to find you. Ask your pet to show you in an undeniable and immediate way, this is the one. You will know. You will feel it when you meet this next pet. See your next pet sitting next to you. See all the qualities you want in this pet that is sitting next to you. Feel the bond, the knowing, the love. Feel it so deep it feels real and then becomes real. Before closing your meditation thank your pet for coming, tell your pet how excited you are to meet him/her . Then, excitedly look forward to the pets arrival. Show true excitement and your pet will come.

* Do animals always hear our thoughts or only when we direct it towards them?*

Animals are highly tuned into their guardians at the soul and physical level. They are also highly intuitive beings.

They always hear our thoughts if they are around us. If we are away from them (in another room, another house, or out of the home in any way) they do not hear our thoughts unless we intentionally send those thoughts to them.

When they are near us their energy is so intertwined with ours they hear all our thoughts, feel which emotions we are feeling, sense the status of our health (mental and physical), and at times even know what our next action will be.

This is why we feel such loss when they transition. At the soul level feel this deep connection beyond the love we feel at the physical level.

*How to help pets with separation anxiety*
Talk to your pet like you’d talk to another human. You would not walk out of the house without saying a word if your partner or child was in the same room, or likely even in the house. You’d tell them you’re leaving and maybe even for how long and what you’re doing. Tell your pet:
* You’re leaving
* You’re coming back (very important for pets with separation anxiety)
* How long you expect to be gone
* Where you’re going
Pets are very intuitive. They understand and the know. They know more than you think they do.
Some pets have baggage (separation anxiety). So logically even though you always come back home they worry. This could be due to past experiences or just their nervous personality.
You don’t have to go into tons of detail. Outline the basics. You should not make a big deal of leaving just like you would not make a big deal of leaving your partner to go to the grocery store.
When you get home, greet your pet, and tell your pet how much you appreciate their loyalty of waiting for you.
Our pets are the only ones that would wait for all of eternity for us. Their loyalty is unwavering. And there is no time limit for them. They would spend every day of their entire lives waiting for us to return. So please tell them when you are leaving and when to expect you back.
All they want is to be with us all day every day. Even the ones without separation anxiety.
I can hear the animals but we can all talk to the animals, everyone, including you.

Question time again!

Ask a question and I’ll do a post in the future about the ones that relate to the majority of humans and animals.

And if they’re simple and short I can answer in the comments!

It’s inevitable that our pets will transition.

And it is hard. There’s no way around it.

But our pets try their hardest to show us they are still around. Sometimes our grief gets in the way of seeing their signs but they are sending us signs.

What has your angel pet done to show you they are still around?

Make my day by telling me! These types of stories always warm my heart. And help others who have just lost a loved pet. ❤️

Frustration- we’ve all felt it at times. We’ve all thought “why can my (dog, cat, horse, etc) just listen?”

All animals can be reactive. Dogs, Cats, Horses, Etc. they bite, scratch, attack, growl, buck, bolt, etc and it seems nothing works.

They’re stressed. Think about when you’re stressed. It doesn’t feel good. It makes you tired. It makes you edgy.

Their reactions are a reflection of stress. Stress to something in their environment, stress triggers, stress from their home, stress from their physical health, the list is endless.

Anger, frustration, discipline, and even “reason” doesn’t fix stress. Fix the cause of the stress and the behavior goes away.

Look at reactive behaviors and misbehaviors differently. Look at these behaviors as a cry for help. As the animal telling you, “I’m stressed. It doesn’t feel good. i need help.”

When you view the animal this way you will feel compassion, patience and calmness. These emotions will HELP the animal.

They need you to control your emotions when controlling theirs is hard. They need you to help them not get angry or frustrated with them. They need healing. They need love. They need understanding. They need patience.

Try to find the area of stress or ask them through a communicator and then fix the stressor. ❤️

Here is a fun one!

Comment and tell me what your favorite part of your pet’s session was!

Was it something your pet said?

Something that improved (after the session) based on your pet’s requests?

Something that surprised you?

Something that made you laugh?

Tell me what you loved about it (something your pet shared!)

Today I was able to do some follow ups on some of my animal clients. Follow ups are great for them and for me!

The follow ups allow the animals the opportunity to give an update on how things are going if there was a problem, medical issue, or request.

Sometimes more changes are needed. Sometimes things are going great and both guardian and animal are happy. Sometimes new things have come up. It’s always useful. It can even be reassuring to know “yes, we’re on the right track now.”

The animals are always so happy to tell me when their guardians have “listened”. It is not something animals are used to, unfortunately. So when it happens they feel loved, respected, and valued.

Follow ups are $75 and include upto 3 questions. This is available for animals that have already had a full session.

We have all had our “soul animals” cross our paths.

These are animals we share a deeper spiritual connection with. Animals we feel we have known before. You connect quicker and more deeply than time can make sense of. And there is a familiarity you can’t put into words.

We all have these animals. We will probably have 1 or 2 n a lifetime. Not more.

We will still love all our other animals deeply and fully. But it is a love that develops, not the familiarity we feel with a soul pet.

All connections are predetermined. But these soul pets have souls that are meant to connect deeper. They are soul mates in animal form. Although we will reincarnate with the same souls as animals over many lifetimes…. Our soul pets are our soul mates in animal form.

Many pets are mistaken for soul pets because the love is so deep for all of them. But when you meet your soul pet you will know. It feels different. It’s deeper. It’s instant. It’s more than love with every ounce of your heart. It’s a part of you from the moment you meet.

Have you met yours yet? If so, show me a photo.

Notice the little things.

If your pet seems a little less happy, try to figure out why?

If your pet is a little lethargic, try to figure out why.

If you pet is a little more moody, try to figure out why.

Sometimes the cause is not obvious. Sometimes there is not obvious change to connect the changed mood too. But there is always a reason. Sometimes is it your pet absorbing your “heavy” energy or emotions.

No matter what. Don’t ignore the change in your pet. They need us to help them x their moods are a reflection of how they are feeling.

You know your pet. You can see sadness, hurt, or confusion in their eyes. Help them .

I just posted on ways to clear their energy. Use those tips. But you can also make their days better. Do they’d favorite activity and do it extra. Sit on the couch with your pet and just be near, consoling them, like they do for you.

Be present. Notice. And then try your best to help. Make them happy. Make them smile. Give them a reason to be excited.

I’m telling you, they are begging for help when their moods change. In the busy lives humans lead it can be easy to not notice or just think it’s “nothing”. It’s never nothing. Irta always something. Make the time to fix it, to help them. They’d do it for you.

* Nuisance Behaviors *
One of the most frequent questions I am asked to ask pets is a concern over an undesirable behavior. Believe it or not, pets don’t want to make us unhappy, they aren’t trying to annoy us, or upset us. All they want in life is to make us happy, each us, and feel loved. They want to feel “good”. Because they are ALL inherently good animals.
So what’s up with “bad” behaviors? Pet’s are so intuitively connected to us that they are in our energy field at all times. That is why your pet knows when you are sad, happy, lonely, stressed etc.
Our pet’s react to our emotions with their actions. When we are happy, so are they. When we are sad, they try to cheer us up, or feel sad themselves. When we are stressed, they are stressed. And guess what stress causes? Undesirable behaviors (actions). They feel stress and worry and it is all from YOU, this causes them to make mistakes, do things we don’t want them to do, or do things that we as humans label as “bad” behaviors.
If your pet is displaying some sort of undesirable behavior please do not assume they “know better”. They don’t. They are reacting to YOUR energy, YOUR emotions. You are their leader, their best friend, YOU are their entire world. So if something is “off” with you, something will be “off” with them. They are animals, not humans, so they will display it differently than we do.
Some examples: Peeing/Pooping in the house or in a certain spot. Ripping up things/destroying things. Pacing. Whining. Chewing. Etc. If you think of these behaviors, it is easy to see how they are related to stress.
Now, sometimes your pet may be stressed outside of your stress (not enough exercise, conflict, etc.). In this case, your pet is doubly stressed! So there is no way your pet can be expected to not to display stress behaviors.
When our pet is happy because we are. That is easy to accept. When our pet is sad because we are that is also easy to accept. We console each other. But when our pet is stressed because we are, humans have a hard time accepting that and are quick to blame the pet. It is not the pet. It is you. Take care of you. Find a way to release / minimize YOUR stress and I promise your pet’s behavior will change. Its a win-win. You feel better, your pet feels better, and the behavior gets better.

Our pets absorb all of our low emotions. It’s their job.
* Sadness
* Anger
* Negativity
* Often times even our illness
They want to protect us so they will absorb all of this from us. If we don’t help them clear these emotions, they will become ill, depressed, or act out with nuisance behaviors.
A couple days ago I talked about leaving your emotions at the door before you walk in the house. This protects your pet and minimizes the low vibrations we bring into the house. But our pets will still absorb negative emotions from us, from visitors leaving energy in the house, from life with us (their guardian!) etc.. It is inevitable. So here is what you can do to help them release it. Especially when times are very stressful.
* Allow them time outside to be grounded (if they are not solely inside pets). Going out and touching their paws to Mother Earth helps release energy.
* Inside pets - this is why they lay in the sun! The sun provides a natural energy cleansing. If you see your pet lying in the sunlight indoors, they are cleansing.
* Give your pet permission to release - Thank your pet for unselfishly absorbing your heavy energy and emotions. Tell your pet they do not need to hold that for you. Then (with your hand or a pet brush) brush their entire body with a flicking motion as you visualize the heavy energy being brushed off their body. Do this once a week or more if under stressful situations or immediately following a confrontation or low energy situation. This is why so many animals love to be brushed. They know it clears their energy. (Unless their matted, then it hurts!)
* Meditate with your pet. We meditate to balance ourselves. Our pets need the same. Go to where your animal is relaxed, sit with your animal, where your animal is comfortable. Set an intention to include your animal. Take a couple deep breaths. Feel you are breathing in the energy of your pet. Then breathe out the energy that you want them to release. They will feel this and start to relax and release even more during the meditation. In closing, ask your guides to protect your pet.
Keeping your pets energy balanced will help them live longer, happier lives.

Names carry energy. When naming or renaming your pet think about what type of energy you want your pet to have! Remember… you are the one that has to live with it….

Silly names will tend to yield a pet that is funny, goofy, maybe a bit mischievous.

A confident name will tend to yield a pet that is slightly dominant, a leader, bossy.

A cuddly name will yield a pet that is loving and gentle.

These names can help, but personalities are of course stronger than any name.

But you can give a submissive pet a confident name for balance. You can give a dominant pet a soft name for balance.

You can also just help bring out the silly in pets with the right name.

You can also hurt a pet’s feelings with a nickname…. Pets don’t understand jokes. They take everything literally.

Names are important and they carry energy. If you change a pet’s name it will take time for the energy associated with the old name to be replaced with the energy associated with the new name. But it will.

Naming pets can be fun! Especially when you put thought into it about wha type of energy the name (or nickname) will bring to the pet.

Tell me some of your favorites!

Grooming Helps Pets Energy

Grooming & bathing stimulate blood flow to the skin. It rids the animal of dry dander and old fur. These things (skin and fur) hold energy. The motion of massaging and brushing also loosens and removes dead stagnant energy pets are holding.

The process of removing the dead skin and old hair (trimming or the undercoat) and also allowing fresh air to the skin (by parting the hair) also allows good energy to flow freely throughout the pets body.

In addition, animals with longer fur have fur that grows between the pads of their feet. This fur blocks the grounding process when pets go outside to connect to Mother Earth. Keeping this area trimmed up helps ensure your pets can get the benefits of grounding when outside.

Grooming is more than for aesthetic purposes and more than for cleanliness, it is also for energetic health and balance!

Every animal in the home has a position, a job, a responsibility.

You can see this if you watch your animals interact.

One is usually the leader. One is more of a healer (smuggler) with humans. One might be a comedian. One is serious and keeps order. There are many positions to be filled! And all are important in the house and group dynamic.

When an animal is getting ready to transition they prepare the others for their transition. You will notice other animals start to assume new roles. This is not a coincidence. This is the way the transitioning animal helps to ensure the house stays balanced and most importantly ensures the guardians are taken care of by the remaining animals in exactly the way they need.

If you have an animal that is nearing transition, pay close attention to the other animal members in the house and you will notice small changes that will show you how close the transition is

Animals are so much more intuitive and understand so much more than most humans give them credit for.

I have always been an animal person. I’ve known they are smart and intuitive but I never knew just how much until I became a communicator. I thought I did, but i didn’t.

So when I tell you your animals know and understand everything, they do. More than you think no matter how much of an animal person you are. It’s actually incredible. And it still amazes me every single day.

The more you interact with them in this way the more you will be in awe.

I love animals more and more every day because in my opinion they are the most incredible souls you will ever find.

Your pets eyes are a connection to their soul.

Look into their eyes softy, at their level.

Being higher than them can be intimidating and scary or confrontational to some animals. Get down to their level and look softly into their eyes. Then close your eyes and feel the emotions and the thoughts that come to you. You will deepen your connection with your pet by doing this. ❤️

So many choices we make affect our animals life.

Getting new pets
Moving
Adding new humans to the family
Changing their food
Changing our work hours
Going on vacation
Sending them to kennels or having pet sitters come in
New routines

The list is endless.

Don’t surprise them. Yes they’ll catch wind of you talking to others about these things but talk directly to your pets. They understand.

Prepare them. Tell them a few times, a handful of times, let them know change is coming and why. Most people forget to talk to their pets about upcoming change. They understand! I promise they do!

If they are caught off guard it will cause more stress. Animals like routine. Changing this routine causes stress. So prepare them.

Then monitor them. Give them extra love and attention so they feel safe and secure. It will help them asap and adjust.

Lost pets HIDE. Even if they arent scared, even if they are insanely loved, even if they want to go home, they HIDE. And they hide well. It is their instincts that kick in.

I had a lost pet case a year ago. I had pinned the location. It was in a no trespassing zone, fenced off, power plant area. The guardians kept getting permission to look in there. They couldn’t find their dog. They asked the workers to be on the look out. The workers never once saw the dog even though they’d walk around. The guardians thought she was on a different part of that property, which helped them validate why she wasn’t seen. I was SURE she was not. I was suer she was where I pinned her location.

Despite weeks of looking in that area and people on the watch, NOTHING. Not even a trace.

Unfortunately, a month or so after the search the dogs mom messaged me to say she had been found, but deceased. Exactly where I pinned her location to be. What does this mean?

She had been hiding so well every time she knew there were people around. But when no one was around she exposed herself. She felt safe to do that. Unfortunately, she died while she was out in the area, but thankfully not when she was hiding so at least her guardians could have closure.

This is very typical of lost pets. I don’t want to discourage anyone but I also don’t want people to get discouraged if there are no sightings. Animals can hide so well you can walk right past them and not even see them. It happens all the time.

This may not comfort you. But it is the reality of lost pets. That is why I tell people to look under things, spread brush and bushes and look, don’t expect to find your pet in the open. You can try to coax them out, but success happens when you take the time to move things, look under things, and look in places it seems impossible for an animal to fit in. That is where they hide. That is how you’ll find your pet. Yes it will take hours, days, and maybe weeks, but they need you to find them. They are too scared to come out on their own even if they smell people they know.

Angie Morin, Animal Communicator

Angie Morin has felt a deep connection to animals since she was a child. She has spent her life working with animals and communicating with them. Angie has always been known to have a “special way” of connecting with animals. Animals of all types have always been drawn to her. Health and happy animals and animals in need. From dogs and cats and horses to squirrels and other “non traditional” animals, animals always seem to find Angie and attach to her. These always relax and feel very comfortable around her. She has been a professional equestrian, rider, and trainer for years. Always taking in the horses others couldn't work with. All of these “unruly” horses blossomed under Angie. She has always had a way of communicating with them. Years ago, Angie embarked on a more spiritual journey that allowed her to tap into a level of communication with animals. She has worked with many spiritual mentors to further strengthen and develop the skills she was born with.

Now Angie offers personalized readings for others. She not only can help you work through problems you are having with your pet but Angie can tell you what your animals purpose is in your life. Animals come into our lives for reasons we don't know of at the time. They are here on soul contracts with us to help us learn and develop and evolve. Despite the depth of the relationship between humans and the animals in their lives, some of Angie’s clients simple want a reading just to learn more about their animals wants, needs, and personality. Either way, for fun or for more in depth purposes a reading with Angie and your pet is sure to help strengthen the relationship between you and your pet and help you evolve spiritually.
