Mustang Artax is making me work for it… but that’s ok because I’m getting better at roping 😉 Now it only takes me 2 tries to make a catch instead of 5,420 tries 🤣
Check out our very own horses featured in this film opening in theaters TODAY!!!

Sweet Finn is feeling much better after a vet visit yesterday & some pain meds for a mild colic. Thank you all for your prayers!
When you have a tummy ache at camp & you just want your mommy… oh the joy of owning horses! Hopefully Mr. Finn is just having a short episode & it won’t turn into a major issue 😩
After a crazy busy week & weekend, it’s good to be back on a “regular” schedule with all the horses in training! Mustang Artax made lots of progress this evening. Got a halter on & he’s starting to enjoy some head scratches 😁
We will miss you, Katy, but we are excited for your new adventure!!
Trailer loading doesn’t have to be a struggle!!
Who needs help trailer loading their horse?? Want your horse to load up every time, right away?? Let us help you! We can come to you or you can come to us.
Horse camp, day 5… and that’s a wrap!!
Horse camp, day 4!
We LOVE horse camp, but on day 4 we kinda feel like…
Horse camp, day 3!
As luck would have it, my hay delivery arrived during horse camp today… yay for extra helpers!!!! We unloaded & stacked 50 square bales in record time 😁
Horse Camp 2024, day 1!
Mustangs for the WIN!!! Newberry Farm trainers, Claire & Abbie, took 3 Mustangs to a local hunter jumper show & we couldn’t be more proud of how they represented our farm & the Mustang brand! Claire & Mustang Roy swept the open crossbar class (this was Roy’s first time ever jumping a full course), winning first in every class & champion in the division. Claire & Mustang Azriel came one class shy of sweeping the open low hunter (2’-2’3”) division, with all firsts, except one class, winning champion in the division. Abbie & Mustang Caspian received multiple high placings, including one 1st & several 2nd, winning reserve champion in the open low hunter division. Way to show off those Mustangs, girls!! And what a testament to all their hard work over the past 9 months!
The vacation is over for Mustang Artax! Time to go to work & learn to live the domestic life. This little man is super cool & will be available for adoption. Let me know if you’re interested!
The best mama cat ever. Her bio kitten on the left & her adopted kitten on the right 🥰 The one on the right was thrown out of a moving vehicle on the highway (a friend witnessed it & saved her). She now has a permanent home with us!
When it’s 9000 degrees during the day with 200% humidity, night riding is where it’s at!
Boone, the camp ‘Stang, waiting for the next group of kiddos to come ride this evening 🥰
Happy to be providing horses for trail riding at Camp Victory this summer!!
The “all around horse”. We specialize in generalizing. We make sure our horses know a little bit of everything so we can do just about anything with them. The 4H shows are the perfect place for our kids to showcase their “all around” horses. This weekend one of our daughters competed in 12 different classes over 2 days: halter, showmanship, several ranch classes, several English classes, & speed events. Because of her hard work & dedication to training, she placed in the top 5 in most of them! We don’t “pattern” our horses for the speed events, we don’t practice jumping every single week, we don’t drill them for hours on end for anything, we just ride the horse & work on weak areas that pop up from time to time, all while exposing them to as many different things as we can… and we have FUN while we’re doing it!
Valentine is a 3yr old draft cross mare that came to me for training. After 60 days she has gone from completely untouchable to friendly & basic groundwork completed.
Well that settles it. I guess I can’t do anything else for the rest of the evening. The pitiful little barn kitten needs me to hold him so he can nap 🥰
Baby Luna 🥰🥰🥰
The arena is ready for lessons in Kellyville tomorrow!
Tulsa barn kitten, “Asher” plays hard & naps hard 🥰
The Kellyville kittens are getting so big!! At least 4 of them are already spoken for… let me know if you want one asap! They will be ready to go to their new homes in just a few short weeks!

Mustang Luna learned to load in a trailer & back out today! This girl has been a tough one, but she’s slowly catching on! Now that she knows some of the basics, she will soon go home to practice more groundwork with her owners before being started under saddle.
From “wild” to the beginning stages of halter training: Valentine the feral draft cross mare is here to be gentled. Whether it’s a Mustang or feral domestic horse, the process is the same. Slowly gain trust while teaching boundaries with pressure & release. Valentine started out being extremely head shy & terrified of any touch. She’s learning that she can relax in my presence & that touch can be a good thing… especially when I scratch her itchy spot on her mane 😁
**SOLD** “Blue” is a titled 6yr old Mustang gelding from the Antelope Valley HMA. This sweet, easygoing guy can go western or English & is comfortable in the arena or on the trails. Blue requires no maintenance, been barefoot his whole life, & has never taken a lame step. Someone is going to get an amazing, once in a lifetime partner! $8500
Roy’s first jump, Azriel practicing consistency over jumps, & Boone just showing off jumping with only leg cues (Claire has her hands off the reins the whole time)!! All Mustangs in different stages of training (Roy & Azriel just 6 months out of holding), showing what these incredible horses are capable of.
Mustang Luna belongs to a client & is here for training. Currently we are working on halter skills & overcoming her habit of bolting when she’s introduced to something new. Here are a couple exercises I am using to help her do “scary” things by trusting my instruction rather than reacting out of fear. This will help her become a calmer, safer horse for her owners to handle.
Mustang Luna is in for training. During a desensitizing exercise we discovered she “smiles” when she’s nervous 🤣
Mustang Mabel trailer loading process: some horses need us to break things down for them & its our job as trainers to make sure they understand what we’re asking & change our process if it’s not working. This girl is still very nervous about new things & doesn’t fully trust me, so rather that wrestle her into the trailer, I started with asking her to step onto something flat on the ground then worked up to the trailer. This builds her trust in me & her confidence in her own abilities, as well as as accomplishing the goal of loading into the trailer safely.
Mustang Roy update! Took him to his very first show just for fun & to get him some exposure to new things. Normally I wouldn’t take such a green horse & try to show under saddle (I’ve only had maybe 15 very short rides on him), but I knew this sweet boy could handle it! Since it was such a last minute decision to take him, I didn’t even try to prepare him… so literally everything in this video is something he has never been asked to do before. All I wanted him to do is try, & try he did! Even kept his cool at the end when he decided to ignore my leg & back into the straw bales 😆
