Everyone, meet Penny! She’s one of my three personal Pomeranians, and she’s living her best retirement life!
Penny came into my home as a stray/foster three years ago and I very quickly bonded with this pint sized pup. She wasn’t spayed, she wasn’t chipped, and she had no teeth.

She’s 4.5 pounds of floofy fantastic and my biggest fan. She follows me everywhere on little legs and a big wind could blow her over. She needs to be lifted up and down stairs, and somehow still takes up the middle of the middle of the bed.
My life is better because of this little pup.

Adorable Sampson got phase two of his “not super pretty but very necessary” makeover today. I had to take his needs step wise as he’s such an old guy- removing his mats was very stressful for him- and he had the beginnings of hot spots. So, we let the hot spots dry out for a few days before today’s take-a-little-more-hair off, then bathe the buddy. He did remarkably well for his kitchen sink bath and thanked me with all the purrs and rubs my happy heart could handle afterward.

As raggedy as this old boy Sampson looks, his life is now dramatically improved as a result of getting fully compacted full-length mats off. I was so glad to have the opportunity to answer this call for help from the kind folks who have adopted this neighborhood stray.
