This 1 year old pup has been living with us for about 3 weeks. She came to me because she was in a crate most of her life and not let inside a house. All that being said she may be the sweetest pup ever !!! She is up for adoption to a family that meets her needs. She loves all people & animals. Looking for a home that is able to spend time with her and make her part of the family. If interested let me know she is a tough one to let go of for us.

These two ladies are polar opposites - one is a bit too rambunctious and anxious with the environment while her sister is more on the stranger danger side of things. We needed to get the walking in check before we could tackle reactivity / excitement. Their parents are working hard to give them the best chance to succeed !! Look forward to seeing them again soon.

This young lady at just over a year old is very mouthy and has not so great manners when greeting. Plus she is working on her walking with her parents.

Day school started today for these 2 girls - they are here from 10am - 2 pm to work on environmentals & socializing. Next day school will be walking properly. Keep the nice weather coming 🙂

This is a 16 month Cane Corso who was a very nervous pup. His family works really hard with him. Today was mastering his heel and working on some of his distraction obedience. Odin will be @ our pack walk this Saturday @ evergreen walk !!!

Update on my girl Shilo - she is walking next to her mom and doing a great job trying not to be reactive. Even had an off leash dog approach us today. I was glad it happened because I could show the owner how to handle the situation.

This is Luna - she moved into a new complex and environmentally it’s a lot for her. She also needs to tighten up her bathroom breaks and impulse control ( but don’t we all :))

This is Sloan who is getting help not being overly reactive at the door and fine tuning his owners cues. This guy is one of the best GSD I have come across for a pet dog.

Leaps & BonesMutt Strut was a little chilly but it was great !! The dogs did wonderful & it’s so good for them environmentally. Next Mutt Strut is 4/20 hope to see you @ Leaps & Bones no later then 9 am -
Come earlier if your dog needs to get comfy before the walk begins.

This is Hudson a 5 year old Wheaten terrier causing havoc @ daycare and home life. He can get fired up especially in his home with his senior aged human parents. Teaching him it’s possible to have control of his energy/anxiety. He did well today, his mom was even able to walk him for the first time. Looking forward to meeting up with them again next week !!! Keep up the good work Hudson

The Mutt Strut is this Saturday April 6 th @ 9 am. Meet in front of Leaps & Bones @ Evergreen walk !! If your dog needs extra time to acclimate with the environment come by 8:45 am. Yellow ribbons will be handed out to tie on your leash if your dog needs space from others. It’s a great way to be in a “controlled”environment to walk your dog with distractions. There is no cost to attend

This is Shiloh -
Her owners called me because Shiloh was scaring her condo association with her reactivity - they were concerned they were going to have to move. Shiloh was a rock star on her first session and her parents are very encouraged. I can’t wait to give updates on her progress.

This is Dazzle the Pomeranian -
She is just over a year old and her owner just got her. The first day walking around the neighborhood she was attacked by another dog. Dazzle was not injured but very traumatic situation. Her owner called me to help with her bathroom habits & management with the cats in the house. In addition to getting them over the dog attack. Dazzle is a very genetically stable pup. Which will make her training much easier for mom.
