Daisy and I had an absolute blast performing for the Stories and More program at the Library this morning! 🤩
This rockstar loved every minute of showing off her cool tricks to the kids who showed up (and their parents) and getting to say hello afterward! 🐶🐾 We had a few hiccups, but for our first performance I think she nailed it 🩷

I don’t ask for a Heel the whole time I walk my dogs.
When I go for a walk with a dog it is so they can get exercise and enrichment from the environment, and the only expectations I have for them is to walk with a loose leash, check in when they don’t know what to do, and listen when they’re asked to. That last one is the reason I don’t expect a heel the whole time, so long as they will walk with me when I ask, the rest of the walk will be free for them to sniff and explore as they please- which is one of our goals when on walks! 🐾
By giving your dog freedom to check out their environment you can help tire them out a bit more than just walking a long distance, as well as giving them so many fun new smells to explore! 🐶

On Wednesdays we work Nail Trims 💅🐾

Nail maintenance is an important part of keeping our dogs active and healthy, but can be a stressful one for all parties involved! Here we can see my boys doing their own nails, and having fun while doing them! By introducing a scratch board and having my dogs think they’re playing a fun game to earn their dinner, we can start taking the stress out of nail trims!

Hello! My name is Jenna and I’m the owner of Daisy Chain Dog Training! For the last 6 years I’ve been Training dogs and learning about the best ways to do so, with the hope that I can help as many dogs as I can get my hands on!

I’m certified through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers and use science based methods to help you train the perfect version of your dog. My training focuses on giving your dog the choice to make good decisions and rewarding them for doing so, using food, play, and praise as rewards in our training. I’m versed in training not only basic obedience and fun tricks, but in Behavior modification training as well, helping reactive dogs see the world isn’t as scary as they may first think!

Currently I’m offering in-home private lessons on a flexible schedule, and am taking new clients! If you have any questions or think you may be ready to start some training, send me a message or give me a call! I’m already excited to be working with you!
