💚 Meet 3 1/2 month old Emerald! She is a stunning green eyed beauty. Of all five kittens, Emerald is the spitting image of her mother, Kaiya. She’s also a polydactyl (she has extra toes).

Don’t be fooled by her loving and affectionate disposition, Emerald is a true daredevil in disguise! She was the first of the litter to scale the cat tree and would leap off the furniture without a care in the world as to where she would land. She is a very confident and fearless kitty. Emerald has discovered the wonder of play. Some of her favorite toys include feather wands, tunnels, crunch balls and the laser pointer. Once she's done playing, she is also just as happy to curl up and snuggle with you.

She is very respectful of the resident cats' personal space and knows her boundaries. Therefore, she would do well in a home with cats. With the right introduction it is thought she would do fine with a cat-friendly dog. She has also met some older kids.

✅️Ok everyone, I am collecting new and gently used items for an upcoming garage sale in our area. All money 💰 raised at this sale is going to a local cat rescue🐈 Funds will go towards spay/neuter appointments, vaccinations and sick and wellness exams.

📣Drop off location for items is 959 Five Mile Line Road in Webster. Look for the big red barn that is across the street from the entrance to Lowe’s. Items can be dropped off right in front of the barn.
PLEASE if it’s going to rain put things in bags and put under our overhang. If it won’t fit, this weekend it’s going to to rain, so drop off when the weather looks good.

📣The last day for drop offs will be this Wednesday 8/21.

📣The sale will also be in the same location next week, Thursday-Saturday from 9-3.

We are also collecting cat food donations to help feed local feral cat colonies who are in desperate need of help.

HANDSOME GROOT‼️ Needs a foster/adopter ASAP ‼️
Abandoned when his owner became evicted...and left to rot in the blazing sun late last week when Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester seized a female Rottweiler and her daughter but left poor GROOT behind. I WILL NEVER, EVER UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE INHUMANE DECISIONS MADE BY OUR LOCAL "HUMANE SOCIETY". It's disturbing. 🤮 I share this information because our Humane Society is one of the wealthiest in the country. Make sure you know about any organization you are considering donating to. They can be deceiving 😡
Against All Oddz Animal Alliance Inc. Is working very hard at trying to secure a safe spot for this 5 year old boy

GROOT UPDATE:
FOSTER STILL NEEDED
This is the Rottweiler who was abandoned in a backyard and left to die by his owner... AND by Lollypop Farms. When Lollypop went to retrieve him, he was frightened and scared, hungry, and hurting at the end of a chain. Sooooo... they left him there. Then, they told his owner who had abandoned him that they would PAY for her to euthanize him. That is where their donor money is being spent. Lollypop left him to die... they believed he was better off dead.

Newsflash: He's not. In fact, he is a beautiful and lovely boy who loves to play and learn. He is brimming with potential and he NEEDS someone to step up and FOSTER him. He is currently at Albion Animal Control. The guys there are excellent and have already helped him learn to trust humans again. But their boss has made it clear that we need to find something for him soon. The foster we had lined up... backed out. Groot was completely non-reactive to other dogs at the shelter. It appears that he will be able to assimilate into a home with dogs, though preferably female ones according to the information we have.

While Groot is much further along than we thought he would be, things still should be done slowly and patiently. We will sponsor training sessions and ensure that everyone is in the best possible position to succeed. Please consider opening your heart and home to a 5-year-old male Rottie who has only seen the worst of humanity to this point... and yet still somehow believes in us.

2 year old Cookie finds himself looking for a new home to give him love and care. He currently resides with his mother and father. His father has been picking on him, so he needs a place where he can relax and be himself. Cookie also lives with children, loves kids, and does well meeting new people. He has previously done well when meeting new dogs that are also dog friendly, according to his current owner. But as always, slow introductions are very important. A meet and greet will be required. Cookie likes to play and loves chewing on bones.
He needs vetting, so a vet reference is required. There will also be a small rehoming fee that can be put towards his future vet visit.
