The Winter Market is back!

We are grateful to be able to keep the market alive for a few weeks more this year. The farmers all still have produce to sell you and the bakers are still baking so please join us this weekend at the Grange in Hailey for more of the Market that you have come to love all summer. We couldn’t do what we do without the amazing support of our community! We will be running from Nov. 2nd until Dec. 21st (no market on Nov. 30th) for now with more information on continued market dates to follow. We would really love to see you on Saturday!

Check out our event on Saturday, Nov 2, 2024.

Support your immune system with homemade fire cider!

We all had such a fun time at our first ever natural medicine class back in September! If you missed it, don't worry, we are ready to continue our class series with this exciting topic: FIRE CIDER!

Fire Cider is an immune boosting super drink that packs a strong and fiery punch! You can add so many different ingredients to your own extraction to concoct the perfect medicine for your own specific needs. It is so versatile!
Join us to learn all about the many benefits of the natural herbs and ingredients that go into this fun medicinal drink. Class includes a full lunch of harvest soup and sourdough bread to enjoy together and a bottle of fire cider to take home.
Saturday morning November 16th at 10 am on the farm (20444 N Main St. Carey)

Just like with our Elderberry class, we will be learning all about fire cider from our local natural medicine expert Rebekah Harmon. As one of the Valley's most community minded experts on nartural medicine and herbal remedies, her quest for knowledge has taken her across many subjects and fields of study including: midwifery, massage, anatomy and physiology, herbalism, essential oils, yoga, and natural healing.

Ceretifications:
School of Natural Healing-Family Herbology
Homegrown Herbalist-Clinical Herbalist
Academy of Lost Remedies

P.S. Registration is also currently open for the next sourdough baking class, set for November 30th. Register on the website now to make sure to get your spot early!

The Sourdough Class is Back!

Due to popular demand, we are offering another session of our Beginner's Sourdough class. This class will go over all the very basic things you need to know to get started working with sourdough bread. It includes a proofing basket, bread knife (lame), and a starter of your very own!

The Sourdough Class will be held on October 10th at 6pm at Itty Bitty Farms in Carey (20444 N Main St.) and will last approx. 2 hours. We will take different doughs through each stage of making and baking to get a full understanding of the process. This class also provides a dinner and some appetizers for all participants.

We have loved sharing these classes with all of you! Hope to see you out at the farm!

Well, you might have heard the rumors so I am excited to announce some big changes coming up for Itty Bitty Farms.
We are finally realizing our dream of becoming a 100% locally sourced store. We have been planning this transition since we opened our doors in 2019 and now are finally making the leap to carrying only local items. With the loss of all of our conventional grocery items, we understand that we may not be keeping our current main customer base...SO, we are going to move away from regular business hours for the forseeable future. We are looking forward to seeing all our our dear friends and customers on a call-ahead basis moving forward. We hope that this transition will also allow us more time to focus on what has always been the heart and soul of our opperation: the Itty Bitty Farm

09/08/2024

We added canning jars to our online store for anyone who wants to add jars to their fruit pick-up order. Follow the link and checkout online and I will have the jars ready for you when you get your fruit order or you can get them from us anytime.
THANKS!

Blaine County 4H Auction Saturday Aug.10th

This is last minute but I hope that this email will make a difference for some hard-working kids tomorrow! The Blaine County 4 H animal auction is happening Saturday Aug. 10th at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Carey.

There are so many kids from all over Blaine County who have been working hard to take good care of their animals this summer, so that we all can have access to high quality, ethically raised meat.

Come to the auction Saturday at 8:30 and help ensure that these kids can reap the benefits of their grit and dedication, while also putting some of the best meat products that Blaine County has to offer on your plate.

Auction buyers are given the option to send the animal straight to a facility, to be processed to your specifications and picked up within weeks, as expertly packed and frozen meat. There is no hassle at all in this kind of animal sale. Buyers also have the option to take the animal directly or donate it back to the child.

Does a whole animal seem to much for you? Find a couple of friends who would want to join you in eating delicioius local meat all year and split the purchase with them.

Available aimals to purchase will include beef, swine, lamb, chicken, and goat.

Consider joining us for a fun and exciting auction day at the Blaine County Fair this year Saturday Aug. 10 at 8:30

Growing with us

We’ve been a growing family since 2011 and a growing farm since 2017 when we purchased land, put up a greenhouse, and built a chicken yard, completing our vision of a family farmstead where we could grow high quality produce for our family and neighbors.

Our education and background in agriculture and passion for plants lead us into this fulfilling and sustainable lifestyle. Sharing the joy of fresh produce with our friends and community is just icing on the carrot cake.

Our four young children love to help prepare, plant, harvest, and sort with us. This is truly a family business built on the dreams of a young and hopeful couple, growing more than just vegetables.
