I don't like asking for money, but i've hit a point where I have no choice if I want to keep my home. I'm applying for a Reverse Mortgage, but need a new roof on my home before the bank will approve me loan, and I don't have enough money to cover the cost. This photo arrived just before I left for Idaho. It was taken of Misty, aka Tulemist Dances W'Stars At Sandy Oak, from her Reserve win at the Woofstock weekend Contra Costa KC, American Chesapeake Club Supported Entry. It's a terrible photo of me as I was grimacing b/c I couldn't get Misty to stand still. Great photographer though as she caught that instant still moment of Misty! And I am wearing my unmatching Saturday tiedyed Woofstock clothes....LOL! I only dress like this for Woofstock 😂😜 🥸 !!

My Retriever is also a herding dog!! Long story but neighbor trying to load 2 Herford heifers into the stock trailer today, one went renegade, jumped the 5 foot Pasture fence and took off into my place! Then proceeded to jump the 4 foot gate into Misty's yard, whereupon Misty's took off after the cow and ran her back out over the gate. Eventually they gave up trying to load the pair after the renegade ran back into the correct field. They are going to feed the pair in the trailer for a few days until they can just close them in the trailer. Sergio is coming back tomorrow to fix my fence and gate that did sustain some damage.

Misty, aka Tulemist Dances W'Stars At SandyOak, graduated from her 8 week Intermediate obedience class expertly taught by Lee James at County-Wide Dog Training Club in Santa Rosa last night. Thank you, Lee. It was a terrific class. Now on to the 6 week Rally I class beginning first thing next year.

Hurray! Misty, aka Tulemist Dances W'Stars At SandyOak just got her OFA CHIC certificate. Her health certifications are complete and she is clear/excellent on all required health certifications. A huge "thank you" to Dr. Richard Hoskins at Redwood Veterinary Clinic in Santa Rosa for an "excellent" hip x-ray! And a even bigger thank you to Tom MacClanahan for entrusting me with this lovely sedge girl ❤ ❤ ❤ . She is sweet, loving, super smart, and funny!!

Misty and I spent a lovely afternoon on Saturday visiting with Theda, her "new" dog Spike, and her human friend Wendy. Thank you Wendy for all the photos you took of my Tasmanian Devil Dog (i.e. Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Misty). I'm posting a few of those photos here. Misty never stopped moving the entire time we visited!!!! She had a blast playing!
