Bella is a beautiful, you can take me anywhere 1 1/2-year-old shepherd mix. She is a friendly, fun and happy girl who is up for adventures! Bella is a leaner, and a lover who loves to be pet. She even gives hugs!!!
Bella loves playing with other dogs. In doggy play group she was the star of the pack and mentored other dogs.
She has not met a dog or a person she doesn’t like!

This boy is affectionate, funny, silly and friendly! But he get’s he lonely and sad living in a kennel in boarding.
When our volunteers take him on outings and he’s away from the stress of the kennel for a few hours we start to see the true joyful boy he really is!
We need a foster or patient forever home to help him be the Churro he used to be.
CHURRO is a gorgeous, super lovable 2-year-old dog who adores people, and is dying to be ADOPTED!!! He is crate trained, potty trained, and really just loves to lounge around and have cuddle time. He is a true love bug, looking for his Forever Home!!!
Churro is a graduate of Humble K9, and has 6-months of free training support with John Flores.
Churro loves affection, but has no problem hanging out by himself. He could live with another dog if his humans go slow and easy with the process. Churro chooses his doggie friends carefully. He would probably prefer being the only child.
Once he has developed a relationship with you he is a joy to walk on the leash! It just takes a little patience. He enjoys running next to a bicycle.
Churro is a bit lazy at heart. He is a couch potato that briefly enjoys sports, like a short bike run or a slow meander of a walk.
As long as couch cuddles are in his future he is happy to go along with some exercise🙂He loves to chase lizards, so after a hard days work he is rewarded with some “lizard hunting”. He shows up ready, even though he is yet to catch one!

PLEASE SHARE URGENTLY—Joey and Chandler came in together, most likely brothers. But the shelter often separates dogs that come in together, and so they kenneled them with other dogs. Unfortunately, Chandler was put in a kennel with a much bigger dog. Initially they were doing fine together, but then without warning the other dog attacked Chandler and left him with a wound on his neck. Chandler has been on antibiotics and they put staples in. Joey has been kenneled with several different dogs and done well. But both boys are set to be euthanized, due to space.
An adopter filled out paperwork to adopt both Chandler and Joey… but changed her mind and did not come for them. So now, both dog are set to be EUTHANIZED TOMORROW—if a rescue or adopter does not come for them!!!
Joey (black pup) and Chandler (tan pup) are both young shepherd mixes, and they don't deserve to die!!! They are NOT rescue only, and can be adopted by the public. They do NOT need to be rescued or adopted together… They each just need to get out of the shelter, so they are not euthanized!!!

STEVIE IS SAD. He does not want to go back to his boarding kennel after a lovely afternoon outing.

He had a lovely afternoon out but I have to bring him back. I’m sad too.
Boarding saves lives with not enough foster homes.

He has been waiting way too long for his special person to come and play with him!
Stevie weighs in at about 70 lbs and is 6 years old. He enjoys making new friends and loves all people. He is calm and gentle with everyone he has met. Stevie walks great on a leash too!
In board and train, Stevie learned how to hang out with other calm dogs and go on pack walks. But Stevie would really prefer to hang out with his people, be the only dog, and lie in a peaceful yard watchin birds and butterflies. He is a people dog.
Stevie is good in the car, and once he’s convinced he can’t come up front with you, he enjoys looking out the window, rolling around on his back, and taking a nap.
Stevie would love a family who loves hunky dogs, and can give him good leadership. Stevie wants a simple life. He is very affectionate, and enjoys his cuddles and occasional massages.
He also loves his walks and is easy on leash. The rest of the time he would just like to hang out with his person on the couch or in the yard.

STORMY is an adorable little pocket pittie. The day we rescued her was her one-year-old birthday, October 24. She immediately started winning hearts, and giving kisses and cuddles to all the volunteers. This little girl is extremely affectionate and full of love to share.
Stormy loves everyone and gives away cuddles for free!
Stormy recently graduated from board and train at Humble K9 with an A+ in doggie manners. We learned that she enjoys playing with other gentle doggies with easy going introductions.
Her future adopter has trainer support for 6 months.
Being a young dog she loves to play. Balls are her favorite thing, along with squeaky toys. She makes you laugh with her playful antics and makes cute little piglet snorts when she is playing.
Stormy is working on her leash skills around other dogs and making good progress!
Stormy is a polite walker and only pulls when she gets excited to see something. She easily corrects and pays attention to her person.
Stormy would blossom in a home with people who would love and play with her, and give her the guidance all young dogs need.
She is a wonderful houseguest in her foster home with good manners.
She would do fine with older children, as she is super friendly and affectionate.

Blue
BLUE WANTS A FOREVER HOME… AND WATER TOYS, PLEASE! 💙💙💙
He is a funny guy and a volunteer favorite!!!
BLUE is a calm, well mannered, handsome 2-year-old boy who just wants to be by your side. He is amazing on leash, has had some training, and is non reactive with other dogs, and checks in with his person.
Blue has great manners. He "steals" treats by looking up at you with those eyes and he never helps himself to your treat pouch. He loves a good alligator roll in the grass followed by a few zoomies. He is very playful and loves to run around with the ball and play "you can’t catch me" followed by a good snuggle. He will play catch and knows some tricks like sit and shake.
Blue has had some rough times in his past. In his last home, he was neglected and had his tail tip cut off. But Blue is so gentle and loving, and he has won the hearts of all our volunteers!
Blue likes other dogs and would do well in a home with other dogs. He was living with a female husky and puppies when he was rescued.
Blue is a goofy, loving dog who would do well with an easy going home, where he will have a person to give him direction and be his best friend. He is a gentle "old soul" who makes genuine connection with his people and gives kisses and affection.

RALPHIE, the tripod, wants to be your best friend! RALPHIE is joyful, funny, loyal, and playful. The fact that he’s missing a leg doesn’t slow him down a bit - in fact, he loves to do zoomies, play, roll around, and make his friends laugh!
He doesn’t even require human participation in his play, he’ll go nuts all on his own! And… he also loves to play with doggy friends, so he’d love to join your pack!
When he’s had his zoomies, he loves to come sit down against his human friend. Every minute he’s not playing, he wants to be close to his human buddy, watching the world while leaning against you.
Ralphie loves his people so much that human companionship is the only thing that gets him through his dinners while he is in boarding. The environment in boarding is loud at mealtime, and that is not conducive to a calm meal for Ralphie. But the second one of Ralphie’s buddies pops in his kennel, he happily gobbles up his food, now that he’s feeling more relaxed.
Ralphie would be happy to have a little playtime and exercise, and then chill out the rest of the day, being content to be around his people and a doggy buddy. Ralphie would be fine on his own, too. He will be such a loyal, lifelong friend.

We did an emergency rescue of a Momma & 7 babies in the desert on July 4th!!! They were abandoned, starving, fighting heat stroke, and left to die… it was 108 degrees!!! I got a call to ask if we could help them… You know I said YES… so they were brought to a vet hospital down near Hesperia to receive medical care. When they are stable, we will bring them out here. JULIA was in foster, but unfortunately due her foster mom's travel schedule for work, she is back in boarding. Amy, her foster mom said, “Julia definitely has some sweet and fun puppy energy, but she is very easy going and loving too. I am loving being with her!"
Julia is a delightful blend of gentleness and playfulness, with a medium energy level. This 1 1/2 year-old pit bull mix weighs about 50 lbs, and is a loving and affectionate joyful girl! She bounces and prances when she walks. She is playful and curious and loves to give hugs.
Julia finds joy in car rides, often choosing to rest her head on your shoulder during the journey, and her peaceful demeanor dominates about 90% of the ride. When it comes to treats, she exhibits a gentle nature, and the love for belly rubs reveals her affectionate side. Moreover, her affinity for children and dancing while walking adds a charming touch to her character.
Julia is very friendly with all people. And with other dogs, with slow introductions. She walks well on leash, and loves to go on adventures.

Chloe is an adorable, funny, joyful, 11-month-old shepherd mix puppy. She is super smart, she listens well and she is very affectionate. Chloe loves people, other dogs, squeaky toys, sticks, zoomies and lizards.
Chloe will steal your heart and make you laugh! She is very smart, and is learning her puppy manners amazingly well. She walks nicely on a leash and has good house manners.
Chloe loves her foster aunties. Her favorite things are hanging out with her aunties and cuddling on the couch, taking walks and chewing her Benebones.
Chloe is a happy, loving little princess.
She is potty and crate trained.
She knows lots of commands like sit, down, paw, place, wait and leave it!
Chloe loves to go on adventures. She travels well in the car.
She adores other friendly dogs and tries very hard to love the foster kitties!🥰 Chloe is a medium size girl who may grow to maybe 55 lbs.

She is such a precious little love!!!
Once you meet this 4-year-old beauty, it’s impossible not to fall in love! Calm and mild mannered, this 55 lb girl wants nothing more than to be by your side. Take a seat, and she gently leans against you or wants to cuddle in your lap.
It doesn’t matter if you have just met or have known each other forever. Emma just wants you to know you are loved.
Emma adores car rides. He favorite seat is with her head on your lap. Emma makes the best co-pilot and will be a great adventure partner.
Emma loves her walks. She is a good listener, responds well to positive reinforcement and is learning her leash manners nicely. Emma loves to take slow walks where she can smell everything!
Emma has her playful times and can be a goofball. She makes us laugh doing zoomies and she loves it when we laugh and does more zoomies. Emma also likes playing ball and loves her squeaky toys and chew toys.
Emma was briefly in a foster home where she did well with the kitties and children. At the shelter she was kenneled with another dog and she may be dog friendly with proper introductions.
Emma will make a wonderful, loving companion and would do well in a home with children, cats and maybe another gentle dog.

Tippy is immediately friendly with everyone, but it takes a minute to win her true love, devotion and kisses. She is on board & train with John @ Humble K9, and doing great!
Tippy really wants to be loved! Hint…"she loves back rubs!" She will work for treats, take them gently and run in zoomies to show you how happy she is.
Tippy loves to run and hike. She will make an amazing athletic companion for an active person. Her favorite game in the world is BALL! She doesn’t know how to drop it yet, but with a little guidance she will learn to be an enthusiastic ball player! She is so good natured and her enthusiasm is infectious. She shares her joy.
Small in size, only 50 lbs, but strong and enthusiastic Tippy will benefit from some leash training. She walks without pulling unless she get’s excited. She is very smart and we have seen that she learns quickly with the work our volunteers have been doing with her.
