🚀 is dropped off at Tufts Veterinary Hospital for his procedure! Likely no news now till this afternoon when he is in recovery.

🚀 An exciting Rocketman update! 🤗. Tomorrow he gets his liver shunt coiled! 🎉

Rocket’s adopters are very thankful for everyone who has helped this little guy get to this point. ☺️❤️

They still need to raise money to cover the cost of this procedure, but wanted to move forward asap so his liver can hopefully start functioning better.

I’ll post updates tomorrow as I hear how the day is going. 🚀

A 10-year-old male neutered FIV (+) DSH cat was presented for a mass palpated in the cranial abdomen. Weight loss of >2lbs. but acting normally otherwise. Physical exam found the patient with a BCS of 4/5 and a large spherical mass palpable in cranial abdomen.

This litter of Ragdoll kittens was recovering from their spay snd neuter surgeries, all snuggled up together. ❤️

Possibly my cutest echo patients ever! 🥰 Two baby Nigerian Dwarf goats, investigating heart murmurs in each.

One has a VSD (ventricular septal defect) and the other a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus)... different types of congenital heart defects. A PDA is potentially fixable, so it's very helpful to know for prognosis.
