Mayor's Special Adoption fee: $40!!!

BRUTUS went on a home trial with a wonderful family and, while it wasn't a FOREVER match, we learned some wonderful things:

Message from the family:
Please let whoever gets him know:
-He is highly intelligent
-Does not chew anything
-Only had 2 accidents in the house.
-He doesn't bark to go out but goes to the door.
-Extremely playful and loving.
-He's not a fan of milk bone dog bones.
-Doesn't beg for people food.

Additional message: Brutus favored my husband over me or our daughter. He was excited when any of us got home, but when my husband would come in, he was super happy. He wanted to be right where he was.
We just wish he wasn't as powerful as he is, he's going to be a great family addition when he finds his forever home.

His adoption fee us $65. Please share him so his dream of staying in a home is realized!!

Good with dogs.

Zoey (FREE ADOPTION). She is approximately 2 yrs old. She is about 40 lbs. Typically submissive with other dogs. She loves to be lap dog. She has been with us the LONGEST.

Draco $65 Adoption Fee. HE IS YOUNG, approx 6 months. He will need potty training and leash training. He is has a LOT to say and likes to put in his two cents whenever he can. He is a goofball. Better with kids over 10.

Willow $65 Adoption Fee. She is a husky. Two years old. Already spayed. SWEET GIRL!

Brutus $40 Adoption Fee. St Bernard Mix. See his individual post for lots of great info. Good with kids, dogs, cats.

Winnie FREE ADOPTION!!
She is a gem!! She is great with kids and a lover. Loves toys and is HIGHLY entertaining!

I know that isn't many compared to other shelters but our shelter has limited kennel space.

Satan and Kitten were seen near the BMV and then again near Dollar General on South Broadway. After their adventure, ACO Greg took them on a car ride through south Peru where their owner was actively searching for them. Reunited!

Let's talk about Zoey. She is a young staffy. Sweet and sassy. She has not met a dog she hasn't liked. She loves attention and would make an excellent companion. She MUST HAVE tummy rubs. She is very social and does not like to be left out of the fun.

Her adoption fee has been FULLY sponsored between our friends Abby and Jessica.
