Tyson will tell you ge is the BEST LOOKING dog at the shelter. Honestly, it would be hard for him to get in trouble as that face is just too cute.

Looking for a family willing to take him on long drives, maybe a stop for ice cream, a back yard to romp around in and someone to pet him endlessly.

Recommend meet and greets with future family members.
Has done fine with other shelters dogs.

Aurora, Beagle.
4 yrs old. SPAYED.

Aurora is need of an attentive family who will lavish her with love.
-She had been kenneled a LOT and has some separation anxiety.
-She is somewhat timid when she first meets people. Her hackles go up because she’s scared.
-She is very sweet and loving as soon as you start petting her.
-Recommend meet and greets with future fur siblings.
-She could care less about my cats.
-She is NOT a couch potato so please understand she will need to be active (dog park, walks, etc). Beagles are working dogs and need to be useful.
- She has been FAILED by people in the past.

While Christmas is an amazing time of year, it is hard at the shelters.

We have dogs that are only wanting homes to call their own for Christmas.🏡🐾🏠🐾🏡🐾🏠

We get calls from people looking for puppies to give as gifts. 😔😔👎👎👎

We KNOW that many of those Christmas gifts may end up in a shelter in six months or less.

Many shelters have people surrender their current pets during the holidays. 🐶🐕🐈🐈‍⬛️

PLEASE consider fostering or adopting a shelter pet.

PLEASE DO BREED RESEARCH before getting a pet to make sure the breed fits your lifestyle.

PLEASE make sure you are prepared to fully commit to any fur family member you add to your home.

If you CANNOT adopt or foster, please consider donating items like BLEACH, PIG EARS, PAPER TOWEL, HAND SOAP, PEANUT BUTTER.

ALWAYS advocate. Pick one dog and be their advocate by sharing on social media.

DRIVER'S NEEDED!

The Shelter utilizes SNAP vouchers to cover spay/neuter surgeries for the adoptable dogs. This keeps our adoption fees low.

Our surrounding vets are BUSY! We have reached out to Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic in Noblesville. They have appointment slots available this month and next to help us get dogs fixed.

How can you help??
DRIVE TO THE APPOINTMENT:
Drivers would transport a dog or multiple dogs (depending on what you are able to do) to the Low Cost Clinic in Noblesville.

You would need to arrive by 7-7:45am on the day of surgeries. Surgeries are done on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays.

DRIVE BACK FROM THE APPOINTMENT:
Pick up after surgery is at 5:15pm. They would return to the shelter at that point.
