Meet Bubbles! Her foster family affectionately calls her Kelce!

Bubbles is a sweet, 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi looking for her furever home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is a small girl of about 15 pounds. She is dog friendly but very shy around new people and new sights and sounds make her very nervous. She will need a patient adopter that will teach her that not all humans are mean and train her to be a more confident dog. Once she warms up to you, she becomes the most affectionate and loving velcro dog who follows you everywhere. She loves to be cuddled and pet and is content to just lie by your feet. She is currently living with 4 other dogs both large and small and has quickly assimilated with the pack. She is house trained but may require a refresher when moved to a new environment. She stays in her crate at night and when home alone. She is learning to walk well on a leash, but has become spoiled by her foster mom who pushes her around in a stroller. She is a former breeding mama in need of a quiet and calm home preferably with another dog and a fenced in yard. With a little patience and lots of love, Bubbles will make the perfect addition to a loving family.

Please open your home to a shelter pet! I will hold your hand and guide you if that helps.

In the last 3 days, 23 dogs have flooded our shelter!! ‼️

This is not sustainable for our shelter who has been overcapacity all year! 😱 We’ve been heavily relying on our dedicated rescue partners, but they are facing the same! 📣 We need YOUR HELP!

🚨 Fosters are urgently needed to help large and medium sized dogs who need out of the shelter! By fostering you are helping relieve a dog from shelter stress AND emptying kennels! ❇️ The shelter takes care of ALL costs: food, medical and more!

Bubba was recently adopted and returned after only 24 hours for being too active 🤯

This cute 2-year-old chihuahua mix has personality for days and the energy to match. An active household would be best for this 18 lb snuggle bunny. Dog & Family friendly, what else could you need 🥰

I have a senior citizen whose dachshund passed away recently at age 16. She would love to open her heart and home to another dachshund. She is not interested in a puppy but aged five and up. She is a very experienced dachshund owner and is not opposed to a special needs dachshund. Thank you.

I love this story

My Mum is 89. A few weeks before Christmas her elderly dog died and she was heartbroken. She’d decided not to get another dog because she didn’t think it would be fair to a dog as she is disabled and doesn’t think she’ll live for long enough to outlive it. However, a dog rescuer that had rehomed dogs with her in the past, knew her old dog had died and when a little 12 year old dog came in who’s elderly owner had died, she phoned Mum and asked if she’d be interested. By then, she was feeling very lonely without a constant companion so said she’d give it a go and see how it went. As you can see by the photo they got on very well and are blissfully happy. Both of them have got a new lease of life and adore each other.

Meet Julius! This young guy was found stray with some pretty deep wounds on his paws. With meds and proper care he's healed up nicely, has been neutered and is all ready to find his new family!
Julius is very social with everyone, he likes other dogs and passed his temperament test like a good boy.
He does show some separation anxiety and we believe he may have tried to escape a crate by the matching wounds he came in with. Another dog in his new home would probably be a comfort to him.
Julius is estimated to be no more than 2 yrs so he naturally loves to play. He's gentle with his toys and taking treats. Julius knows basic commands but he will need someone willing to work on his leash manners, he's quite strong.

A lot of sad stories of late with the passing of my pride and joy, Teddy, our Cairn client and Max, the neglected senior who did spend his last days enjoying the sun, a giant yard, a pool and especially pupcups with a very special angel and her family. Tonight I received a text from Jax family letting me know how awesome he is doing and how loved he is. That was the little something I needed at the moment.

Max was laid to rest today.
He had doggie dementia, poor stability on his hind legs, severe anxiety, and was primarily blind. Bloodwork results showed GGT enzyme levels where extremely high at 162. Usually means, there are problems in liver/ gall bladder ducts (toxins or obstructions). There was blood in urine as well. His original family didn't bother to have him at a vet for eight years. The person saving him wanted an assessment of what she was dealing with. It's costly but worth it for peace of mind. It didn't end the way we hoped, but at least he knew love, pupcups and enjoyed hanging in a baby pool and walking around a beautiful fenced-in yard.

The rescue life is filled with emergencies, waiting, hoping, and tough decisions. I am just a volunteer, but when locals reach out to me, I jump into action. Of course, when push comes to shove, some people back away. It's ok. The person who wanted to save this dog did so with her adult daughter by her side. I was on standby. He came here for an assessment and wasn't a good fit for Pattie's Waggin' Tails. There are too many dogs and too many obstacles for a large breed in his condition.

I will do this over and over again even when there aren't Happy endings because that's what I signed up for.

Chewy is a 2 year old Shih Tzu boy looking for a foster or adopter! He would love to find a furever home, but he would also appreciate a place to crash until his furever family finds him. He is dog friendly, and not cat tested. He is not kid tested but should do find with children. He is not yet house or leash trained and needs a patient family willing to work with him. Clifford the big red bloodhound here, ready to meet you and move on to a better life! Clifford hasn't had the best of lives up until this point, but that's in the past and he's starting fresh. He's about 5 years old and Clifford is the sweetest big ol' boy. He doesn't seem to have much worldly experience and new things are a little frightening for him. For instance: passing by one of our gentle, resident peacocks, Clifford jumped back as if a wild buffalo was storming towards him! On the other hand.....if he has an inkling that there may be a tasty treat in your pocket, he'll come shloomping up to you, nose all a' sniffing until you give it to him. Clifford is very gentle, mellow, and well-behaved. He's great on a leash, he sits instantly when asked, he is very gentle with taking treats, and he may sniff and trot after a toy but he'd rather get your attention than waste his energy on toys. Look who didn't die today!! Sorry, not sorry for being so blunt.

Meet Max! Thanks to Colleen Courtney-Noto, who contacted me and Charlotte Barcas for being determined. Thank you to Husky House for taking Max under your rescue.
Max will crash at Pattie's Waggin' Tails for a few days after his vet visit today. We will see what he is all about. Remember, I'm not a trainer; I'm just a foster mom and mommy, mom to many dogs. I have a spot for new dogs to decompress away from my dogs and fosters. Let's see what he is all about. If these pics are any indication, I think we have one happy senior.

Hey folks, so you want to surrender your pet? Do the rescues a favor in return for them taking in your pet and saving it from a shelter or, worse, euthanasia. Have your pet spayed/neutered and current on vaccines so the rescues have one less bill piled on their already exorbitant vet bills. Plus the chances of finding a foster / adopter quickly is higher. You're welcome.

Where are my fellow pit lovers? Someone has a 3 year old neutered Male. He is amazing with kids and people of all ages. Does best with dogs his size and no small dogs. He really needs a home. His vet even said she would write a letter if needed to his temperament. He was kissing her face during his bloodwork.
