It is your right, as a customer, to find a groomer with the expertise needed to get your dog the cut it deserves! The upkeep of your dog’s coat is imperative to their overall health. I am very fortunate to have some knowledge in that area and my curiosity has led me to continue my education in a dog’s skin and coat. Here is a great example of my understanding at work: Mr. Magoo gets a special type of cut for his groom and sees me every 6 weeks. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he missed his last 2 appointments. Because of the skills I learned, I was able to give him his regular cut without having to do a start over shave down!

For the last month or so I have been testing out all my new equipment I picked up at the grooming show in Schaumburg. I do have to say I am loving the new shampoo/conditioner and that silver disk thing, which is a show head. The shampoo and conditioner are protein based and extremely helpful with deshedding. The shower head is manufactured to create extra oxygen bubbles so I can use less soap and for a gentler clean.
