Izzy and Harry's parents were away for 2 weeks, so we had daily red dot play sessions! Love Izzy's thumpy big mitts - not sure if she has Maine C**n in her maybe, or just big paws for a girl! ❤️❤️

All For The Love Of Pets
I have always been a pet-lover and pet owner. I am owned by a beautiful, special cat, and have also owned many other pets over the years including dogs and rabbits. I have gained experience giving medications, insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids through this business, with my own pets, and at previous jobs in kennel and veterinary environments. I grew up in Coventry, and have also lived in Ellington, Stafford Springs and Vernon, and am very familiar with Tolland County in general. I have a soft touch, am soft-spoken and often relate easily to pets that are timid and nervous, but can also practice a firm hand and voice when needed, i.e. dogs on leash in particular.
Happy Paws was established part-time in 2003 after being laid off from my 8 to 4 job, and it has grown considerably since then, including regular weekly petsitting/dogwalking clients and vacationing/ daytripping clients. Credentials include Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR completed in 2005 and retaken in 2015; Bonded and Insured by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC; Animal Reiki Certification, April 2017.
My interest in pets’ health and well-being, along with my background in nutrition, with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of CT, has led me to expand Happy Paws Pet Care into pet nutrition and wellness products in 2020.
