Rescuing bully breeds from local shelters and urgent situations and providing them with the love, medical care and lives they deserve.

Lilo's Promise Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(C )(3) organization. We are a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, socialization, veterinary care and safe housing for homeless American Pit Bulls Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, related breeds and mixes thereof. Those animals taken into Lilo's Promise will stay with us until their forever homes are found, no matter how long th

at may be. We provide basic obedience for the dogs taken into Lilo’s Promise as well as provide them with exposure to various social situations. We believe no matter what the breed, background, age, or disability, all animals deserve a second chance or as we prefer to say, "A new beginning". Each animal we rescue has a special place in our hearts. Our goal is to make the best match possible for both the pets and those looking to adopt a new family member. Lilo's Promise educates the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, obedience training, socialization and the joy of adopting a homeless dog or cat. Please note we do not accept owners surrenders. We were set up to save the dogs who are on their last days in our local shelters. We adhere to this policy for there are thousands of homeless dogs who do not make it out of our shelters.

This cutie is Vivia! Vivia is only a year and a half old but has already found herself homeless and is living with our friends at Animal Adoption Center in Lindenwold, NJ. She is a sweet, energetic girl who loves people and children. She could only go to a home with another dog who matches her energy level and whose family has experience with multiple dog households. Or she can be your one and only to spoil and love!! Vivia has had a sad past with an unstable situation but is ready to put all of that behind her and start fresh to live her best life! Our Lilo’s Promise family is truly saddened to share the news that our beloved Aladdin has crossed the rainbow bridge in the arms of his mom. This little trooper was a ray of sunshine and spread love wherever he went. We are thankful to all who loved him, helped us to save him and his mom Michele and family for all the love and beautiful life they gave him. Laddy is running free without pain and positive he is getting so much love in heaven. A very bright star will be shining down. Thank you Laddy for all that you did for so many. I always called you an angel on earth. You are now the sweetest angel in heaven. Please keep Aladdin’s family in your prayers and send them love and healing energy ❤️

Hung out with my favorite beef cake adoptable Chef yesterday. He is such a great boy, talks to you when he is happy and shares his toys. So much personality and so smart! He is great with his house manners and loves his long walks. He is a snuggle bug with the softest fur and beautiful blue fawn coat ❤️ Please share to help him find his forever home. He’s the best ❤️

Hi Friends! Our adoptable hunk Chef has some news to share. Lilo’s Promise website that we’ve had for years was hacked and so we now have a new site. Our new web address is www.lilospromise.org.

Our handsome boy Chef is ready to celebrate Fall with his forever home. Long walks in the leaves, Netflix and chill and lots of cuddle time! He is a handsome blue fawn with the most amazing ears! Chef is a smart boy and loves to play and learn new things. He has done well with other dogs he has lived with but can be a bit stingy with certain goodies and we are working on that with him. He is house and crate trained, out of the puppy stage but lots of adventure in this 6 year old hunk. Please share so that he can be a best friend to an awesome person or family. Our Chef is looking for a great home! Are you looking for a goofy guy to be your best friend? Chef is the one! Hunky, silly, smart and an all around great pup. At 6 years young Chef is house and crate trained, knows his commands and is one bright dog! He enjoys walks with his person, butt scratches, just hanging out and playing with his toys. He is easy going and has lived with multiple dogs just fine. Chef would love a home who will keep up with his training, provide him with exercise and structure and of course lots of love! Foster needed asap! Our boy Chef is being returned after 5 years with his family as he suddenly is uncomfortable with his 17 year old human brother. Chef is house and crate trained and lives with two smaller dogs just fine. Chef would love a foster who has experience with larger pups and can provide him with daily walks, structure and lots of love! Lilos covers all expenses of fostering and all the support and supplies you need.
