I keep the original post pinned at the top, but I continue to receive many inquires on puppies. We are no longer breeding. Our family is continuing to grow, and hopes for that to be the case for a while longer. Family comes first always and it’s our top priority. As hard as it was to leave this part of our lives we know it was for the best. As you can see we are always happy to refer you to Full Circle Weimaraners. Amy was my mentor who got me started and quickly became family.

Reminder: I am no longer breeding. In fact I’m letting my website run its subscription course and should be closed by the end of the month. As always we will continue to refer Amy and Full Circle for your Weimaraner needs!

If you have recently inquired with me about a puppy, you know I’m not breeding. But we always refer Amy with Full Circle! Amy was my mentor made family. Ace actually stayed with us for a short time during dove season.

It is with long and deep thought that I have come to this decision. Being a mom is EVERYTHING to me and so much more. I have thoroughly enjoyed breeding and making the life long connections with my owners. That’s why this decision was not taken lightly. I have decided to no longer breed while we continue to grow our family. Maybe one day in the future I might return, but for now this is the end of the road for us. We truly enjoyed working with the family who helped us raise our last litter and they did a tremendous job. However, because I did not have my hands involved in the part I love most, I felt disconnected and not as excited about these puppies. Therefore continuing in with having others raise litters for us just is not an option. Breeding takes a lot, and deserves all the excitement and joy that comes along with it. I strongly believe that each puppy and owner deserve my best, and if I cannot give it then I shouldn’t be doing it.

I will continue to love the breed and enjoy the company of my own fur babies. I still love to hear from my owners and will be keeping my pages available for you to share your thoughts, journey, questions or concerns. I will also continue to be a life long support for the pups and grown dogs (they will always be puppies in my eyes) that are out there. Please never hesitate to reach out to me! As life has continued to get busier and busier, I don’t always respond as promptly, but please feel free to pester in the event you feel like I’m taking too long.

For those who are so anxiously waiting to be paired with a puppy from a future litter, we are sincerely apologetic. We have always, and will continue to recommend Amy Lindsey with Full Circle Weimaraners. She is a very valued friend made family member. She was my mentor and who has guided me along my breeding journey. We are forever grateful for finding her!

I do still have two silver females available if you are interested in a puppy from my final litter. They are ready for their forever homes this week!

We still have silver females available. Please contact me for more information at (806)445-9940

It takes a lot to be a breeder. We get a lot of backlash from the “adopt don’t shop” people. And I am all for adopting pets!!! They deserve all the love. But here’s the thing: responsible breeders do EVERYTHING they can to make sure that the pups go to their forever home the moment they leave ours. Sometimes things don’t workout. Families go through things, move, illness, whatever it may be and they might need to hand the dog back over.

My dogs come at a cost for many reasons, but the biggest one I’ll always stand by is they wouldn’t throw away $$$$ to dump it somewhere. Friday someone dumped about an 8 or so week old pitbull puppy at our house. I’ve tried to locate the owner with no success. My owners know if something doesn’t work out they are to bring the dog back to me and we will figure it out! Or I will also do whatever it takes to make sure we try everything to resolve why they want to bring the dog back. I don’t want my dogs in just any home, I trust my owners. A lot of them have become like distant family members who I feel so connected to but may not talk to for some time.

So when there are people that just want to make a buck in selling some puppies and not caring where they end up, it infuriates me. People who just let dogs breed with no planning, no genetics testing, considering the temperaments of the dogs, and so much more have no idea what it means to be a breeder. People who think oh I’ll just get one litter out of this dog not taking into consideration if they have what it takes to raise the puppies have no right to breed.

If this wasn’t simply an owner deciding they didn’t want the puppy, they should have contacted the breeder. If the breeder refused to take the puppy back to rehome it or even find out why they want to return it and not try everything they can to make it work SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWING DOGS TO BREED!

Here’s a snow picture from nearly 2 years ago in hopes it keeps coming down and snows as much as it did this day. Molly sure wouldn’t mind it.

Just a reminder if your interested in a puppy this year please fill out a submission form on the website. It is easier to keep a list of interested buyers that way versus skimming messages on messenger. Thank you and hope you all enjoy your Wednesday!

SOLD-

Rex
DOB 10/31/21
8 weeks old 12/25/21

Rex is coming back to us due to no fault of his own. His owner decided she wasn’t ready for a puppy so he’s coming home. He scored 3-4 on his temperament evaluation meaning he’s confident, playful and willing to listen. She had him evaluated by a trainer and they said he was very intelligent and would make a great companion.

Rex is dog door trained and has a great foundation on manners and he’s ready for his new family. He has not had a single accident in the house and he is very well socialized and started dragging a light leash.

Give me a call for details. Can deliver to Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas or Oklahoma on our next trip south.

Beautiful Maggie and one of her humans! 🤍 Maggie is from Willis/Molly.

We have plans to breed Molly for her final litter in February. Molly has one of the sweetest temperaments and loves to bond to her humans. It has been hard for her not being attached to my hip with the baby, but she sneaks her kisses in on the baby when she can.

We have had many inquiries about puppies. Just a friendly reminder if interested please fill out a submission form on our website. I haven’t given a lot of details yet because life has been busy with our baby boy. But we can’t wait to update everyone once more details are set in stone and breedings take place.

We have some amazing owners, but we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for finding Amy Lindsey when we got Willis.

We are getting so close to welcoming our very own baby boy into the world. As new members continue to join and inquire about puppies, I’d like to direct you to our website. Please, please, please fill out a submission form there so that I can locate it when our next breeding takes place. As of now, we have plans to breed two females in February 2022. My communication may not be as timely due to our own change in our family dynamic. I will do my best to get with each of you as you reach out. If you have reached out previously, but you have not done the form please do so. I do not want to skip over anyone who is interested in a puppy.

Just to inform anyone incase there is future confusion. We stumbled upon someone using West Texas Weims as their “kennel.” There is NO association. And I do not know this person. I have reached out to them to inform them of our operation and that we do have a valid Tax ID and Assumed Name Certificate. I am not claiming them as fraud, but I do not have any information on them to know what their practices are and what standards they hold for the breed. I don’t know if this will ever be a conflict of interest but please be aware. Thank you all!

I haven’t introduced Hazel yet. One because she’s still young and we are still evaluating whether or not she will be bred. This far she is a phenomenal girl and we adore her. Secondly because as we have announced there will be no breedings this year as we have young dogs we want to focus on, her being one of them. And finally we are expecting a baby of our very own in the fall. All this being said everyone meet our 7 month old long hair Hazel. She’s a beauty and we love her personality.
