There has been a lot of talk in the science world around dogs with behaviour issues and a link to gut dysbiosis (leaky gut). Obviously leaky gut leads to hormonal imbalances.

Many pet parents have reported online that after administering FMTs 💊💩 (f***l microbiome transplants) to their dogs, their dogs experienced behaviour improvements: less anxiety and unwanted behaviour.

New p*er-reviewed study shows when epileptic dogs with anxiety & behaviour issues were given FMTs, those dogs showed improvement in ADHD-like behavior, fear- and anxiety-like behavior, and quality of life.

Concluding FMTs could alleviate bad behaviour and be used as a potential therapy.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ann Lurie, who was a leading voice for so many worthy causes in Chicago and beyond.

Her founding gift named the PAWS Chicago Lurie Spay/Neuter Clinic in Little Village in PAWS Chicago’s early years. Today, the Lurie Clinic remains a foundational pillar for PAWS and prevents overpopulation of homeless animals in the city of Chicago as the only free and subsidized high-volume spay/neuter clinic in Chicago.

The Lurie Clinic has been the backbone of a 90.2% reduction in euthanasia in Chicago since PAWS was founded in 1997.

From our founder, Paula Fasseas: “We thank Ann Lurie, not only for her generosity, but for her shared vision of a No Kill Chicago. The PAWS Chicago Lurie Spay/Neuter Clinic, which opened in 2000, made an immediate and dramatic impact on this city, and it continues to be the primary force in reducing pet homelessness and euthanasia in Chicago today. Her founding gift has been central to PAWS’s ability to provide more than 320,000 free and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to homeless and at-risk pets in Chicago.”
