This was shared today by Randy.
Rayne’s friend Sheba, Sheba was at a junk yard and was going to be put down because she was too “wild”. A customer at the junk yard told them he would take her.
Her new owner saw Rayne and I training with Roy from K9 Advantage. Her owner told us Sheba was so wild she couldn’t be near people or other dogs. Roy gave him his card and we told him about the drop in classes on Saturdays.
After just a few classes Sheba could lay down near Rayne. I’m so happy for her and her new owner. It would have been such a waste of a beautiful dog. Sheba just needed structure, consistency and for someone to show her what to do.
Rayne was a tired pup after class, kicking back in her kennel.

Out training Phoenix this morning, no problems around the train. She did get a little worked up when she picked up the scent of a guy that walked by, she had no problem seeing him go by until she could smell him.

I can train any dog
Owner and trainer, Roy Hayes, has been training dogs since 1986. In 1989 Roy created K9 Advantage in Richmond, CA with the idea he would give his clients the “K9 Advantage”.
Roy went to Pro-Train, a state accredited school, in Oakland, CA and was certified in Puppy & Adult Obedience, Behavior Modification, Police Dog Training and Kennel Management. Upon completion, Pro-Train hired Roy, and he started training Police dogs with the San Francisco PD, Napa PD, and Solono County Sheriff's Dept.
As a volunteer behaviorist at the San Francisco SPCA, Roy helped people from all over the country with their dog’s behavior problems and helped create a training program for volunteer dog walkers to help reduce the return rate of adopted dogs.
Roy held twenty-two obedience classes a week for puppy and adult dogs in the San Francisco Bay Area. During this time, he also helped start a Dog Bite Prevention program for Oakland Elementary Schools with Glen Howe of the Oakland Animal Control.
In 2005, he moved to the Kingman area. Roy trained dogs for PETCO from 2006 – 2011. In 2007, he helped co-found Mohave CARE-Net. In 2008, CARE-Net and Roy created Friends from the Pen (a dog rehabilitation and training program at the AZ State Prison in Kingman, AZ).
Between 2006 - 2012 Roy worked with local shelters ( For the Luv of Paws , HALT - Help Animals Lives Today , and Western Arizona Humane Society ) and other volunteers socializing and training dogs.
