Diesel is an extra large Akita, his coat was struggling with being impacted. Getting out all that stuck under coat allows his natural coat to do what it’s supposed to do as a double coated breed. Keeps him cool in the summers & warm in the winter. He was the best best boy for never being groomed. I enjoy a good visual of a before/after of a deshed. He should feel so much better now 🐾🤎🫶🏼

New door greeters 🥰 meet the new girls…the solid red one is Croissant & the red/white one is Strudel. They are very friendly & eager to greet all my clients when they pull down to the kennel.

Please be mindful to not open or hang on any gates/coop doors & also of the “must be on leash rule”. While some dogs don’t mind them I know some are very interested in them, please do not allow your dog off leash to run my animals (chickens/goats/personal dogs etc). All of my personal pets are enclosed & not able to run my property, I would appreciate if yours did not either. If you or your family have questions about any of my pets please feel free to ask me about them, I’m happy to answer any questions as well as show them to you if I have the time. 🫶🏼🥰

Getting caught back up! Peak season, 4-H week, vacation, you name it. Traveling back today & will use this light scheduled week to get caught back up on life, both at home & in the kennel! 🐾😍 you guys are the best!

Update 7/25: male with the floppy ear is sold!

Today - Sunday ONLY Auggie pups will have a REDUCED price, trying to cut back the animals my house sitter will have to take care of while we’re on vacation. Still picky about where they go etc. 😉

Auggies - 7/8th Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 1/8th mini Aussie. First set of shots & age appropriate worming. Ready to go today. You may not be looking for a pup but someone might be, so feel free to share. I have one female & four males. They should mature to be between 20-25 pounds. Health tested parents.

To my Kentucky friends: I do have transport options heading that way Sunday August 4th. 🐾

Social media is not my strong suit & I’m the first to admit that. I don’t post all the things, I don’t post daily etc. I always try to make a good effort to post pictures for families, both exsisting clients & new comers. It’s been a full busy month with lots of boarding dogs & I am so extremely grateful. I’ll be photo dumping today to share all my furry friends! 🥰🐾 full kennel, full heart! 🩶

I’ve been keeping a secret… 🤐 🥰

Silo welcomed her final litter early this morning, from about 11pm to 4:50am 😴 this will be the end of an era for us as there will be no more “auggie” (7/8ths Pembroke Welsh Corgi & 1/8th mini Aussie) litters after this one 🥲 Silo welcomed 7 beautiful babies (5boys & 2girls). She’s such a good, attentive mom 😍

I appreciate everyone’s patience as I catch up on a busy last three weeks between rearranging my schedule for field trips & a death in my family + peak season in the kennel is here.
