The Woodlynne Farms Story
Woodlynne Farms grows healthy, living, all natural, hydroponic microgreens for individuals, restaurants and caterers.
This quest to grow the freshest produce started as many do with a foolish Midwestern boy’s desire to have a garden. Only growing vegetables in a sandy, bug infested, nutritionally devoid soil and harsh climate proved to be a significant challenge.
Thankfully, the quest led to experimentation with non-traditional farming methods including growing perennial vegetables, Hugelkultur, raised beds, urban chickens and most importantly hydroponics.
It is this knowledge and a desire to eat healthier that led to the farms indoor hydroponic growing of microgreens. This perfect environment is always the proper temperature, provides just the right amount of light and humidity and never requires anything other than filter water and the right grow media.
