This service is perfect for those without the space, time, or expertise to raise their own meat animals, yet desire the assurance that their meat comes from animals raised on healthy foods in a humane environment. You might also be concerned about forming a bond with an animal you'll eventually eat.
Here's how it works: You'll pay a fair market price for a farm-bred or off-farm purchased animal that we'll raise at our farm. We offer flexible payment options for feed: either monthly installments or upfront for the entire feeding period. We even provide specialized feed programs—if you prefer your animal to have a different diet, like organic feed, we'll accommodate that with its own pasture.
When your animal reaches your desired weight, you'll pay the butcher fee (if not already paid), and the animal will be humanely slaughtered, butchered, and the cuts of meat will be packaged in FoodSaver packaging for you to take home.
What makes this service even better is the ability to split or even quarter an animal with another family to save costs or take home a more manageable amount of meat. The entire program is highly customizable to your preferences.
You'll also have the option to name your animal, visit it, and receive updates and pictures—or none of that if you prefer!
We offer this service for pigs, cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Other animals can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
